Do you mind if I pick for Aliyah? She's the one January trusts the least after Hush. Plus, it does not seem particularly fair to me that January would have to deal with two factions while Aliyah doesn't have to deal with any.

Also 'faction' isn't all people who are on the one team, just broad classifications of characters. Two people in the Power faction might be mortal and intractable enemies.

Ok so tell me about a rumor or conflict you have heard about that involves a the faction you were given.

No matter how powerful they become, wizards are still mortal men when you get down to it. And a few days ago, Harold Robinson, one of the oldest and most powerful wizards in Corvus Bay fell victim to this truth. Since it is the way of Power to snap up resources vulnerable or exposed, it doesn't surprise me in the slightest to hear that a vast majority of the Power community in Corvus Bay is gearing up to fight over the dead man's hoard of magical memorabilia.

Since Aliyah's family has had dealings with the Unseelie courts, Aliyah keeps an ear to the ground about their activities. Rumor has it that one of the local night clubs - "The Moon's Gift" - is actually built on a portal to the Unseelie lands and is operated by Fae from the Unseelie Realm. Alyah has confirmed the existence of the portal, but the allegiance of the owners is still unclear. They don't appear at the moment to be allied with Queen Mab, but that could change.

Caber has been carefully watching a group of humans, tied not by blood but by creed called the Ordo Exilium. They consider themselves modern knights, though Caber never had too much respect for real knights, much less these men. They're monster hunters and would-be demon slayers. Most of them were inducted due to the unexplained or disbelieved death or kidnapping of a family member by a supernatural entity. They're not the best at their jobs, but they can handle mundane monsters and certain abberations with the poultices and mixtures they concoct, and the special silver or salt filled bullets they use. Recently they've been sneaking around downtown, and Caber has suspicions they're going to disrupt some demon black market soul dealing and spirits that just wish to be left alone.

Hmm, ok... I'm stealing an idea from Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire... please don't judge me. xD

There is a troupe of vampires going from district to district posing as an acting troupe. Their acts involve unwilling victims that they capture prior to the night's festivities... ranging from young to old. They delight in the genuine terror that the victims exude when placed on stage in front of an audience that thinks that they are simply acting. The vampires get a high not only from the blood feast but also from the euphoric excitement of the audience.
