Name: Harvin Freimaurer
Clan House: House Van Saar
Personal Demeanour: Harvin, by default, is rather paranoid and self-concerned. This is perhaps to be expected; after all, he is not keen on dying, a more pressing prospect for him in particular than even most of the Van Saar clan due to his disconnection from many of their resources. Nonetheless, this self-interest translates to a natural preference for mercenary and bounty hunting work, a simple and rather hefty source of income and potential materials, ultimately items he can craft and trade with to maintain his equipment and body alike. Consequently, though he is not the biggest fan of other clan members or even his own, he is at least willing to work with them until they show signs of turning on him, at which stage he will either bolt, kill them, or both without hesitation. He has a particular distaste for House Escher's members, seeing them as untrustworthy and likely to see him as fodder out of their own foolish biases; yet even more so does he find himself hating Van Saar itself, or at least the members who remain loyal to its creed after they cut him loose.
Description: Harvin's base look is not overly disconnected from that of many in his House of origin - light and almost bloodless-looking skin, blond and grey-eyed, but too young to bear the well-groomed beard of older scions, and almost always seen in the full-body environment suit that defines his House's aesthetic. Noteworthy about him, however, is an oversized robotic appendage replacing his right arm, his body-suit apparently either cut back, retracted, or otherwise stripped away to accommodate the limb. The arm itself is of evident high quality, albeit not precisely striking design beyond being at least twice as girthy as any normal human arm; despite this, Harvin seems able to move it freely, without any particular restriction from its weight. Otherwise, any cybernetics he may have seem fairly restrained, if they are present at all; the only obvious modification is a MIU in the back of his skull.
Skills: Harvin is an excellent mid-short ranged combatant, courtesy of his innate training under House Van Saar and mercenary expertise with the format of various guns, and whilst not specifically primed for it is more than capable of handling himself in melee combat courtesy of his oversized artificial arm. Like many members of House Van Saar, he is also a grand expert in the field of cyberteknika, and in particular has the capability to maintain and repair his own equipment with the proper tools and materials; to a degree, though, this incorporates one of his most important skills, that of perceiving when to act and when not to. This one ability, a necessity when it comes to both diplomacy and survival, has kept him alive far longer than anything else in his arsenal.
History: Harvin was born to House Van Saar around 26 years ago. In his childhood, he was trained in the roles of gunmanship and cyberteknika alike, all whilst being exposed to the radiation of his House's hidden STC fragment and the similarly-irradiated creations it produced. By his late teens, he like his fellows was condemned to a bodysuit that monitored and maintained his health, such as it was; yet in that time, he had learned much about how to provide for the House and for himself, proving himself to be a viable Neotek for future affairs.
More pertinently, he had come to the conclusion that all the hard work in the world might not actually do much for him. Logicially, therefore, he ought to take credit for somebody else's hard work.
The opportunity came when part of his bodyglove malfunctioned, leaving his right arm to essentially rot on his living body as his cells ceased to divide; choosing that time to act, he more or less usurped the work of a fellow Neotek with the prospect of achieving Archeotek status, stealing their STC documents and modifying them to build and have installed an oversized limb, something that would replace and improve upon his biological arm manyfold.
Naturally, this wound up being noticed one way or another. He was tried for this fraudulent action, and whilst he successfully talked them down from an immediate execution, the alternative- exile- was not strictly far beyond that. Cut off from Van Saar's resources and with no means of replenishing his bodysuit's capabilities, the intent was that the radiation sickness in him would ultimately kill him. Not so: it transpired that robbing entire civilian establishments for their wealth was much easier with a large, intimidating weapon for an arm, and worked wonders for ensuring he acquired the necessary life support for long enough to be noticed by a Venator gang. Hiring on with them, he quickly earned more than sufficient wealth through bounties and the like to keep himself going, and plenty of experience with both upkeep of his arm and modifications to his equipment to assure their longevity and function - and, in the end, a contract with the mysterious "Mortis" at The Inside Joke.

Equipment and Armament:
- Van Saar Armoured Bodyglove - A high-quality environmental suit that encloses most of Harvin's biological body, providing physical protection, life sign monitoring and support system technology, as well as environmental protection methods that allow him to move through most extreme conditions without too many issues, especially highly-irradiated areas. On that note, it is also a necessity for his continued livelihood, as it monitors and helps suppress the effects of terminal radiation poisoning common to just about every Van Saar member, both passively through tox filters and actively via injections of rad-filtering agents and gene reconstruction.
- Cyberteknika Arm - An overlarge mechanical limb replacing Harvin's right arm, this item is of a design Harvin essentially stole for himself in a bout of need and greed, paying dearly for the effort. Its construction incorporates a number of anti-grav suspensors that eliminate excess weight, allowing him to move it as readily as a biological arm without being overbalanced by it - though despite this, it is still made of solid metal, and can handily pulp a ganger's face and skull with a few clean hits. In fact, the extra weight reduction is quite useful for Harvin: aside from letting it incorporate just a few extra rad-filtration systems and radiation shields, it also lets additional ranged weapons be stored within its structure.
- Mind-Impulse Unit - A small device implanted into the skull that allows Harvin to connect with a great many machines, generally the infrastructure of Necromunda's hive cities. More practically, it also gives him direct, speed-of-thought control over his augmetic limb, including the weapons installed into it.
- Twin-Linked Nihilis-Pattern Lasgun - A minor example of House Van Saar's innate expertise with technology, this weapon is nominally a highly-intricate piece of art, with semi- and fully-automatic firing options and substantially higher combat efficacy than the Necromunda-pattern lasgun - something House Van Saar would sell to nobility, perhaps. In Harvin's case, he has stripped back much of the casing of two such guns and incorporated them into his robotic arm, linking them together to fire simultaneously to ensure a hit is more likely via the crude expedience of firing more shots at a time. They are still just as dangerous as they ever were, but emerge from his forearm rather than requiring him to hold them. Furthermore, whilst they still output dangerous levels of radiation during use, the additional rad-shielding in his arm renders them at least somewhat safer for him to utilise long-term.
- Necromunda-Pattern Meltagun - Another example of high-quality weaponry, from in fact the only source of such on the hive world, again stripped down to necessary components and installed into Harvin's arm. In this case, the beam outlet is placed on the underside of the arm's wrist: locking his hand into a raised position allows the melta weapon to fire its payload of super-compressed, super-heated gases in a heat ray that can melt bulkheads with contemptuous ease, let alone people. The primary issue with the weapon is its short range; however, its design is such that it will automatically begin taking in a great deal of air from its surroundings after firing, both to cool the arm and replace what fuel has been expended to avoid unnecessary reloading, a process that can be quite loud.
- Hystrar-Pattern Energy Shield - A form of conversion field, whose effects are focused into a specific directed barrier rather than an all-round wall. Naturally, this has the downside of only guarding from a specific direction, but comes with the benefits of greater defense against attacks it can guard against and the versatility to move it around. Usually, Harvin wields this in his biological hand, as his cyberteknika arm is very much occupied with shooting.
