Notes: Might use a custom, easy to use dice system.
The world has ended. Not in nuclear war. Not the seemingly inevitable result of rampant capitalism and enviromental destruction. No, something else manages to beat us there, despite our best efforts. Magic ended the world. Magic. Fucking world rending, earth-shattering, sky splitting magic. Imagine the surprise on our faces when a goddamn dragon burned Buckingham palace. When a great Kraken heaved out of the ocean, and just sank a US Navy carrier like it was a toyboat. Or when metropolises suddenly became besieged from within as the began to reanimate in some sort of zombie plague created by Necromancers of all things.
At the time. We didnt understand it. We didn't know how to fight or deal with it. We almost wiped from the planet, from reality itself. Turns out, there was many other worlds out there. And our world, our reality, ended up crashing into another. From what others have told us, the magical things were just as confused as us. Unfortunately, the more violent and down right elements of that other reality had been the firs to react, seeing a magicless, unprepared world to plunder and savage.

Hello! Hellis or Hella here. Long time member, long time gone!
Reality Reforged is going to be a Postapocalytic game about community building, finding strength in one another and rebuilding in a world brought to ruins by the sudden, violent emergence of magic. This game centers the cast helping in the efforts to rebuild a life for themselves and others. Magic is abundant, and while some landmarks of old earth remain, a lot of it is overgrown or fundamentally altered due to the merge of the two realities. Modern technology is still a thing, to a point. Somethings, like computers you wont see much off, as the entire supplychain and global networks that allows for such creations is all but gone. But guns and other mechanical things still hang around, and have even been redesigned with magic in mind.
Its in advanced, becouse I like some depths and plan to put in a lot of effort into this and I feel the expecations of Advanced posting best serves my vision.
Alot of this will be somewhat sandboxy, with little missions for gathering resources, dealing with threats are going to popup or discover places that are relavant to the overall lore and story of the world. The city itself is gonna be its own, living, breathing charachter so to speak. It will grow, have events depending on outcome of missions and decisions from the players. And as it grows, as will the story progress and new things will be unlocked. As this is a collaborative effort, I will run tallys and check with my players as to what missions interest them, what they want to see added to the city etc. SO that we all have a stake in it!
As for charachters, I like a bit of "low start, progress to greatness" and I have a little, very simple dice system lined up for it. No set classes, I'd like for players to basicly "build" their own classes as the game go, with adding their own unique skills and abilities as they level up.
