Donald let out the rest of his Pokémon, introducing, "Porygon-Z, Beldum, Zorua, Spinarak, Staryu and Murkrow."
"Nice to m-m-m-m-meet you all," Porygon-Z greeted, stuttering like Max Headroom.
"Hello," Beldum's monotone voice issued.
"'Sup?" Zorua greeted, showing off a couple of illusory guises. Spinarak waved a front leg in greeting.
"Hi," Staryu greeted, flashing their crystal core.
"Ciao," Murkrow squawked.

It was then that Jeremy's pokemon sang out a song that they remembered hearing Jeremy singing...

Sandy's pokemon also sang one they heard. It was like a congregation of a magnitude 9 welcome. They accepted the pokemon of Donald's as if they were their very own protege's and successors to what they could do. It was automatically like... Family. Jeremy smiled and posed with delight as he saw the warmness that came from them. it was like their hearts were joined as one.

It was then that they called their pokemon back to their pokeballs and got with making their way back over to the populated parts of the Jefferson City. They knew that there was gonna be a tournament and had to gear up and prepare.

Jeremy: Donald, Depending on what happens... May the best trainer win. I am hoping to win... but if you win it... that's just as fine too. There is no competing on who's better than the other. We just give it our all and make best with what we got to show them.

Sandy: That's sound logic right there. Can't get any straighter than that.

Barrack: I came to get a mighty good hankerin' piece of the fun here. I happen to have a pokepal with me too. It's a good ole's Escavalier.

Jeremy: Escavalier? Hmm. that's a different pokemon.

Pokedex: *Giving info on a pokemon* Escavalier- The Cavalry Pokémon... They fly around at high speed, striking with their pointed spears. Even when in trouble, they face opponents bravely. These Pokémon evolve by wearing the shell covering of a Shelmet. The steel armor protects their whole body. Wearing the shell covering they stole from Shelmet, they defend themselves and attack with two lances. It charges its enemies, lances at the ready. Barrack: I came here to find you to warn you about there being possible sightings of Team Aqua. They are also on the loose and seek to make their moves on seeing to reawaken the Legendary pokemon of the sea Kyogre.

Jeremy: You've got to be kidding us. Are you serious?

Barrack: I wish that i weren't serious about that. I do. However... this is not good. Team Magma's now got your sisters on their radar and have already tried to nail them. Luckily they failed in getting your sisters. But they're gonna be needing some heavy defense.

He knew from reading about the legendary Pokémon that if the two Teams succeeded in their goals it would spell an ecological disaster worse than any the U.S. and indeed the world ever felt unless a certain someone intervened. He planned on putting his technical prowess to work after the tournament.

Jeremy: My sisters are in trouble and here i am thinking about a tournament. I'm pathetic.

Suddenly... A Video screen appeared and turned on. Only to reveal Maxie- The Leader of Team Magma...



Maxie: *On Screen* Pathetic, Are we... Passion Kiss?! PATHETIC! Watch this! *Showing a video of Macie getting Burned by a fire pokemon*

Through the video sounds of Macie screaming in pain are heard...

Maxie: Don't Mettle with us, Boy. You may be the drag teen with flair... but you don't stand a chance against us. your attempts are FUTILE. If you want your mom back in not just a box of scraps... heed our warning... STAY OUT OF OUR WAY! Or next... will be your SISTERS!

Jeremy was irate and there was reason . His mother was being tortured by the merciless Team Magma. It was getting more and more severe... Would Macie be able to hold out? What was Jeremy to do?

I got news for them... *Bellowing* NOT HAPPENING! *Calling out to Maxie; As Passion Kiss* Maxie, Honey... You want a fight? A War? Guess what? You've got one. Passion Kiss accepts your challenge. In fact... I am calling you out... HERE AND NOW... For a 1x1 MATCH. You and ME. The Gay son of the Rising Star against the head and Leader of Team Magma... YOU! Unless your Chicken!

Jeremy's Magmar then came out from his pokeball and got amped up to fight...

But it was not but a minute later...

It was then that a messenger arrived with a letter for Jeremy...

Was it a letter from Maxie... or was it from someone else?

"Sandy and Pansage are right," he reasoned, "As tempting as it is, rushing in guns blazing like a berserker will surely lead to defeat or worse. Besides, she's our mother too. You're not the only one affected by this." Donald spotted Jeremy's letter while he waited for results from Porygon-Z. "What's that you got there?"

Know that some people are willing to sacrifice everything just to take them down.

It was then that his attention went right to the letter that was now in his hand and that Donald was putting the fix on...

Jeremy: *Curious* What's this? A Letter... from who?

He opened it and looked to see what it was...

We shall battle in an hour from now. Come to the clearing located at McClung Park. I'll be there waiting for your arrival. You're about to find out that you made a very bad mistake. Come alone. Just you and your pokemon. The strongest one you've got. Your Lover and new so called friend who dares call himself a Lightfoot when the Rising Star never had a son like him... are not to come. If i see them... The match is Null in void. One Hour. Start preparing for the fight you'll regret.

Sandy: *Gulps* That... that's not good. Passion Kiss, You set yourself up for a fall. What're you gonna do?

Jeremy: *Concerned* I don't know. But i'm bound and determined to do whatever it may take.

What was Jeremy gonna do? Was there a way out? Or was this gonna be an early showing of Passion Kiss's ill-fated plight and the grandstand of his last curtain call?

Jeremy looked at his pokeballs and thought about which one to use for the battle. He had to think on what pokemon he'd be seeking to use. What could he do with just the pokemon he had?



Jeremy: *Voice-over* Donald wasn't a Lightfoot. He was... a trainer that we met and befriended and accepted as one of the team. He was not like one of the typicals. The show-offs as my sisters and i happened to have seen in our time traveling on our journeys to go and reach each Gym and beat them... grab a badge and win the shot of competing in the Pokemon league. But Donald... he couldn't show off if he tried. Nothing about him spoke that as he came off as a very distinguished trainer. A celebrity at best as well. in his field. Technical and very direct in his approach. I rather liked him alot as a very good dear friend. I think that he might have been a relative of mine from a different part of the Lightfoot family if he was to be indeed a Lightfoot. What i had to believe was that he was a swell guy. Caring and very consoling. However that was not the part that got me focused on what was ahead. I now had to head to a clearing that wasn't that far from where i was at the moment... It was at a park and i had to face the Leader of Team Magma for a 1x1 match. A fierce match. I was perhaps terrified and uncertain about what i was getting into. I didn't know what to think as this was a match i kinda brought unto myself. Not intentionally... not at all. However it was that time where i had to take a stand. if not now... then when?

Jeremy: I gotta psyche myself up and get my mind in the game of the match. Passion kiss needs to bulk up and practice.

Jeremy had his pokemon battle one another... Fighting one another and get some experience. Not letting anything stop them. At least for a moment. He had to think about what pokemon to use. The best ones. He knew that Alolan Geodude would be one... As well as Drillbur and a Roggenrola. He even used Pansear for it as well. He knew that he had to use the best ones possible for the match. The Match was coming and he had to be ready...

It was when the time got near... ten minutes till the match...

Jeremy: *Kissing Sandy on the lips* Love you. Donald... In case anything happens to me... take good care of Camerupt. find a way to sing to calm his anger bursts. Fury moments and the violent Rage. Whatever it takes to calm him down.

It was off to the park...

It was then within seconds where from across the clearing...



Maxie: *Walking into view from the side and standing on the other side of the clearing just a few feet away* Passion Kiss... You want a fight? You shall find out what it means to be burned by Team Magma. This is a match. Rules are simple. two pokemon each. First one to have both their pokemon knocked out... Loses.

Passion Kiss: Deal. But not that it'd make much difference. Can i ask you something first?

Maxie: I'm in a rather sporting mood. Ask me. What do you wish to know?

Passion Kiss: Why're you so hellbent in getting the landmass to be expanded?

Maxie: It's to serve the greater good. The sea covers much of the world and has little room for all the pokemon of the land to flourish. It is our dream to make the landmass of the world bigger and more vast.

Passion Kiss: That'd be a heartening dream. However it can't be allowed to go on. What about the pokemon of the sea?

Maxie: It doesn't matter. They have plenty of other areas to spread their wings.

Passion Kiss: That isn't right. You know that. it's not like you can just play god. the idea could upset the entire ecosystem and wellbeing of the life on Earth.

Maxie: That's how it is. Enough talk... Time to battle.

Seconds later...

Maxie: *Calling out a pokemon* Mightyena... come out!

Maxie: Call out your pokemon. Let's just see if you can fight me.

Passion Kiss: *calling out a pokemon* Geodude... My rock-hearted darling... time to come and show your energy and serve it to the opponent.

"Maxie didn't want the two of us going with Jeremy for the battle," Donald stated to Sandy, "But he didn't say that our Pokémon couldn't watch. You up to doing some aerial reconnaissance with your Fletchling? My Murkrow can help out if need be." He had a hand on Murkrow's Poké Ball, ready to deploy him.

"Maxie didn't want the two of us going with Jeremy for the battle," Donald stated to Sandy, "But he didn't say that our Pokémon couldn't watch. Sandy thought about it and nodded. He was worried about his soulmate Jeremy. He knew that in the current position that they were in... that they were nowhere near ready to see a chance to take on the leader of Team Magma. This was gonna be a massacre. He could feel it and it was hurting him.

Sandy: My Scyther, Fletchling and Spearow. They will make their way to where the fight is. But stay in the air so they won't be seen or noticed.

Pansage: We need to find a way to stop that match. Jeremy is gonna be creamed.

Over at McClung park...

At the clearing...



Jeremy: *Commanding his pokemon* Geodude, Attack Mightyena with your ThunderShock... add more bite to it with your Double-Edge and then Shake it loose with a classic and stunning EARTHQUAKE!

Maxie: *Commanding his pokemon* Mightyena, Use Crunch on his Geodude... Make him feel the bite of Team Magma's Might! Add more to it with Take-Down.

Jeremy's Geodude went at it with a Thundershock and nailed Mightyena hard with a strike of thunder which put a big bang upon the opponent. It followed along with a Double-Edge and put the pound on Mightyena. It then took a step further with Earthquake. Although Mightyena was capable of evading the Double-Edge. Evading it and laid down a take-down on Geodude. Knocking it down. Although...

Jeremy: It's okay, Geodude. Shake it off, Darling. Shake it off. It's okay.

Jeremy then sang out and had one of his pokemon Magmar and Electrabuzz stomp their feet and clap.

Sandy thought about it and nodded. He was worried about his soulmate Jeremy. He knew that in the current position that they were in... that they were nowhere near ready to see a chance to take on the leader of Team Magma. This was gonna be a massacre. He could feel it and it was hurting him.

Sandy: My Scyther, Fletchling and Spearow. They will make their way to where the fight is. But stay in the air so they won't be seen or noticed.

Pansage: We need to find a way to stop that match. Jeremy is gonna be creamed.

"Sounds like a plan," Donald agreed, "It's time to deploy." He readied his Murkrow and Beldum's Poké Balls. "Murkrow, Beldum, it's time for some reconnaissance!" Murkrow and Beldum materialized and were ready for action; the former doing some warm-up wing flaps.

Beldum and Murkrow are on their way to keep watch." He was no less worried about Jeremy than before and understood Sandy, Anistar and Pansage's concerns.

Anistar: Dude, Watch the moxy. Jeremy's like a brethren to us musicians as he's the son to the kick-ass lady with the love and glitzy pure light Macie. We worry about him alot. He's the gay dude with the witty zeal that is love in a christmas package made for all. The code of the Musician when it pertains to us... "What happens to one of us... happens to all of us."

Sandy: That's true. I've got my 3 flying pokemon up in the air and they're watching overhead and at a distance where they won't be seen. Watching.

Anistar: I got a Drillbur that can dig over to the location. I can have her dig over to the spot and just watch from the hole. *Calling out her Drillbur* Diamond, Come on out.

Anistar: Hey girl. I got a rocking gig for you. Our Brethren Jeremy is at McClung park at the clearing and is battling again the leader of Team Magma. He could be in big trouble. I need you to dig over to the location. But don't get out from the hole. Just stand watch and if there anything going on that is of concern... come on back in a hurry and ring us the message.

Drillbur: *Saluting* Drillbur.

A few seconds later...

Anistar: No problem. Ground recon is in motion. If there is something going on that seems hinky... we'll know about it. From either the air or by ground. we'll know.

Sandy: Okay. Donald, let's make way over there. But just half way.
