"Sure thing," Donald replied, "Lead the way, everyone." He was not familiar with the layout of Jefferson City and was willing to follow those who were. The tournament he wanted to attend was an afterthought now that a member of his family he just met was in mortal peril.

Sandy and Anistar led the way to the halfway point between where they were and where Jeremy was currently at battling the leader of Team Magma. Once there...

Sandy: *Standing in position* From where we are now... The Park isn't far away from here. Just a couple or so blocks.

Anistar: What we need is something to keep us busy to take our minds off of the worry we have for Jeremy. We are concerned about him. But we can't just stand here freaking out. It won't do him any good nor will it do us any good either. We need to think about something else.

Sandy: Like?

Anistar: Maybe finding out a bit about where the new guy here comes from. Find out everything about him that we'll like to be aware of.

Sandy: Good idea. Besides from how the battle must be going... we've got plenty of time.

At least that was the intent... The battle was getting brutal...

What was the deal behind their new friend Donald? Was he really from a side within Jeremy's family? Or was there something more than what met the eye? How did he know about Jeremy and how much did he know about the Rising Star? Was there a secret affair that happened that conjured up the idea that Jeremy and Donald were related? Was Jeremy prone to holding out in the match? Who was to know?

"Ask away, ladies," Donald encouraged, "The Wizard of Silicon Valley has nothing to hide." He still kept an eye on his phone for when his Porygon-Z completed its task. "I understand your skepticism regarding my name being Donald Lightfoot," he continued, "Considering nearly 45,000 people in this country alone share the name John Smith and they're not all related to each other; but that's the name I've been given at birth. Besides, you can't believe everything the tabloid rags or Internet blogs print out."

Sandy was curious and it was only natural to be curious as they were not too sure if Donald was indeed related to Jeremy. Other than the fact of having the same exact last name. Anistar didn't know what to think and of course... she didn't want to deem Donald a imposter or a con. But with Team Magma on the uptick again and likely scouring nearby... they could not take the chance of not asking and getting some Intel on Donald. Find out what's what.

Sandy: You said moments ago... back before Jeremy called out the leader of Team Magma for a 1x1 match... that Macie was both his and your mother. How do you know Jeremy? Are you blood related to the Rising Star's family?

Anistar: It's not that we'd call your bluff and think you a liar. We are not saying that. We are just rather confused on what you meant by saying that you knew the Rising star in a way to call her... your mother and saying that towards Jeremy. Jeremy is battling against Team Magma's leader. But his full attention upon the match and battling might not be there as he's probably trying to figure on how you knew about him like you acclaim to do and how his mother could also be your mother.

Anistar's Roserade came out and launched out a blast of Dazzling gleam and set the scene for where Donald could come fully clean about his ties to Jeremy and how he knew of Macie and why he'd have the guise of thinking that she was his mother as well as Jeremy's.

What was Donald going to tell? What was his tell all? Was there a deep connection between Jeremy and Donald that Donald may have known and yet was privy to state out? What would Sandy think to tell Jeremy if the claims were true? And if they were... What would Jeremy's sisters Lisa and Nicole think? Someone better have some answers and soon...

I can only assume based on logic that the Lightfoots put me up for adoption and vowed never to tell another soul of my existence. I did originally come here to participate in the tournament and win the Honedge, but through the power of Facebook I also had the opportunity to meet up face to face."

Sandy and Anistar listened and as they were told the tell all... they felt their jaws drop and it was enough to make them gasp and pause in shock. They just couldn't believe what they were hearing and from what they now found out... They could only grin and figure that if Donald was one of the Lightfoot's... it could only mean that Jeremy was the other half of a fraternal twin birth. Meaning that Jeremy was kept and Donald was given for adoption.

Sandy: Oh my sweet mother of gasp. you mean that if by what you're saying is that you're a fraternal twin. That could mean... that... you and Jeremy are...

Anistar and Sandy: BROTHERS!

Anistar: How is this possible? I...i...i-i-i-i mean... does... Does Jeremy know?

They were finding out that there was a secret unseen chapter of the Lightfoot family dynasty that no one knew... till just now...

"Keep this dark for now," Donald advised, "If the wrong ears hear this, I could be in danger as well." He didn't like the idea of Team Magma or the tabloids hearing about the exposé he had just dropped. His mind turned back to the battle Jeremy was having with Maxie.

Anistar: *Wondering about Jeremy* I wonder how he's doing.

As for Jeremy...

He was getting an upper hand on the match as his pokemon were putting on a real fight. but it was only then where the tables started to turn.

Maxie: *Commanding his pokemon* Numel, Shut down Passion Kiss's Pansear with Lava Plume... then shake them into bits with Earthquake!

The Numel unleashed the Lava Plume and sent it right at Pansear. Burning it badly... However... when the Earthquake came...

Pansear: *Tumbling over and hitting the ground* Ack!

Jeremy lost his footing and tripped as well which when he did... A Fire Stone came out from his pocket and hit Pansear's head which had then caused it to glow and so did Pansear...

In only a short quick moment...



Pansear grew up bigger and taller... His shape changed to become...

"SIMISEAR!"

Jeremy: Whoa. *Checking on the info*

Pokedex: *Giving Info* Simisear- The Ember Pokemon... It loves sweets because they become energy for the fire burning inside its body.
A flame burns inside its body. It scatters embers from its head and tail to sear its opponents. When it gets excited, embers rise from its head and tail and it gets hot. For some reason, it loves sweets.

Jeremy: Hey there, Simisear. You ready to rock?

Simisear: Bring them in and smoke'em up. Time to Scorch!

Jeremy: I shall take that as a yes. Okay... let's go... *Commanding his pokemon* Simisear, Push the petals with your Fire Blast... then speed it to the next level with Flame Charge... Finish the barrage with a GIGA IMPACT!

The battle was on the level...

Who was gonna win this battle? Was Jeremy gonna pull through?

Sandy: We won't tell anyone who shouldn't know. But i think that we may have to come to terms that if we know... it wouldn't be too far off to suggest that Team Magma may also know. Not to say that someone nearby might have heard us talking and went to find someone within team Magma and exposed it to them. Technology is very booming and so is social media. If we know now about it... you can almost guarantee the reality that they're not far off from figuring out as well.

Anistar: That's true. Celebrities are with their lives under a magnifying glass and watched like protected sheep and kin. If there is anything that happens to one celebrity. That celeb's family is surely gonna be brought into it eventually as you know that the paparazzi and the tabloids will start digging. They always do.

As they were speaking about it...

Sandy overheard the news of Pansear evolving and become Simisear.

Sandy: *In shock* What? Are you serious? Oh... oh... oh my god.

What no one knew was that Sandy's spearow was somewhere else and was battling some wild pokemon. Strong pokemon and wanted to Evolve for Sandy. It fought against a bunch of Beartic's Vileplume's and Rapidash's. Even a cluster of Snorunts. It came close to defeat 3 times but pulled through to the vicious end. It was by a moments more of passing that his Spearow collapsed to the ground with a tuckered out wing. It glowed... Glowed with a bright light...

Spearow: Spear... row... Spear... row... *Suddenly Bellowing out* SPEAROW!

Spearow grew and grew... it's beak stretched out a bit and became elongated... Her wings grew bigger and longer... Spreading out vastly like elegance. It spread like beauty.

Once fully Evolved...

Sandy's Fearow: *Suddenly Bellowing with Joy and pride* FEEAAARRROOOOW!

It soared up high into the air within seconds in sheer agility and gave a loud cry out with glee...

"FEEEEEAAAAARRRROOOOWWW!" "FEEEEEAAAAARRRROOOOWWW!" "FEEEEEAAAAARRRROOOOWWW!"

Before long...

Fearow dove down and went for Sandy and landed beside him. Hugging him happily.

Sandy: *In shock* S-s-s-spearow? Darling... is that you?

Fearow: *Nods* It's me.

Sandy: Wow! You're... AMAZING!

Anistar: Dang... Fearow... You're huge and awesome. *Winks*

Sandy: Things are bound to look up. *Looking towards where the park is* Passion Kiss, Hold on. Don't give up. You can do this. You can do this.

Was Hope holding on? How much more could Jeremy go on with the battle? Was he winning?

Over at the park...

The clearing...



Jeremy: *Commanding his Simisear* Come on Darling... this is the last call. We have this... we can do this... Just a little more. I believe in you, Darling. Hit this finale with a FLARE BLITZ... Followed by a Fire Pledge... Finish it with a HYPER BEAM!

Simisear got with it and even though he was tuckered out and feeling the draining sensation... he got into it with his Flare Blitz. It was with a bunch of Rage and it hit Numel hard with a scorching contact. It followed by that... a Fire Pledge and it got close to a suffocating impact. The hit caused an explosion that knocked both Jeremy and Maxie back... The only hit left was a Hyper Beam and Simisear was in position to power up to fullpower before within seconds... Letting loose and firing it at Numel. Taking it out.

BOOM! Kaboom! KA-BOOOOOM!

The explosion sent Numel flying into the air then back down and hard into the ground. Knocking it out.

Jeremy and Maxie were panting as it took a lot from them. But even though he was Evil and with malicious intent... he gave congrats where it was due.

Maxie: Well done, Passion Kiss. You might just have exactly what it takes to be more of a challenge for Team Magma yet. But this struggle is far from over. Groudon will be awoken. It's only gonna be a matter of time.

Maxie took his leave and his pokemon with him too... Jeremy however couldn't stand anymore and finally collapsed. Blacked out drained...

Was it more than what it was? Was Jeremy just tired... or was he somewhat hurting?

Beldum saw the exchange happen and relayed it to Espeon. "Jeremy has won the battle and is down for the count," she announced, "Should you want or need to help him, his location is at the playground in McClung Park. You'll be close if you see our fliers circling overhead." Donald didn't need any further prompting as he took off running with Espeon following. "Maxie said something about awakening Groudon," she stated.
"I'll ponder over that matter later," Donald replied, "I have a brother to see to."

Beldum saw the exchange happen and relayed it to Espeon. "Jeremy has won the battle and is down for the count," she announced, "Should you want or need to help him, his location is at the playground in McClung Park. Jessie: *smoking* Pidgeotto, you need to relax. You've been on the prowl for battle for a long time. Haven't stopped since we left Burbank. I don't know what it is that you see up there while flying... However why not stick close and just rest on my shoulder and rest your wings a while. You need it more than you may realize.

It was only a moment later that she made over to where there was food and grabbed something to chow down on. Jessie went for some Pizza and as she had her pizza... She made sure that she fed her pokemon and gave them a good meal.

While eating...

Jessie: Want to listen to some music while we rest and eat?

Her pokemon nodded...

Jessie: You got it. Let's hear the radio. Listen into some music.

She turned the radio on and they began to listen...

"Thank Arceus," Donald sighed in relief, "Mimikyu, come on out!" Donald sent his Mimikyu back out. "Mimikyu, I want you to use Pain Split on Jeremy," he commanded. Mimikyu sprang into action, snuggled into the crook of one of Jeremy's arms and used Pain Split to share some of his energy.

Jeremy took the move as he laid there still out cold and for some mysterious reason.. he started to glow. Not sure on how that could be possible as he was only human. But he was glowing and it was rather joyous as whatever the pokemon had done... was reverse the pain and make it dissolve into nothing.

Jeremy began to stir and move a little before coming to and coming to realize where he was and what happened that caused him to collapse. He was up and standing within seconds and as he got up...

Jeremy: *Dusting himself off* Ugh! I'm in shambles. I oughta bitch-slap that leader. He ruined my skirt. This happens to be polyester. it's not easy to clean.

Sandy: *Relieved* Are you okay, Jeremy?

Jeremy: *Nods* Sure. Of course i am. It's just a knock in the old bread pan and a konk on the old head plus the result of a heavy attack that was done to win the match.

Sandy: You won against Maxie?

Jeremy: Yeah. However it was pretty close and i almost was beat. Thankfully Pansear evolved into Simesear. Simisear's sure got a heck of a lot of armpower and firepower. He let loose and just threw Maxie for a complete loop.



Anistar: Yahoo! Passion Kiss... Claims another smashing victory! Passion Kiss, You totally F-ing Rock!



Jeremy: *Poses; As Passion Kiss* Why thank you, Darling. i am just full of surprises. be sure to stick around for more. because the party has only just begun, precious. *Winks*

They all laugh in delight...

A Moment later...

Jeremy: *Gathering his bearings* So... Where to now? Want to try out for that tournament? We're in the area after all. Might as well grab at some good fun.

Sandy: You got my vote. Donald... what say you?

Were they gonna try their luck again at going for the tournament or was that near end incident an indicator that perhaps they should just press on and try on making their merry way closer to Cleveland... where the first Gym was?

"Yay, it worked!" Mimikyu cheered, jumping for joy.

Whilst Donald was excited to be battling at the tournament, he was glad to see Jeremy was not only OK from what Mimikyu did he was as passionate as ever if not even more so. "If you don't already, warm water on a delicate wash cycle," Donald advised about Jeremy's polyester skirt.

Jeremy: Warm water? Delicate wash cycle? I happened to try that already and it always seems to work. But i kinda use a little bit of air dry just to give it a bit of a fluffy feeling. It's my favorite skirt. I love wearing dresses. and Skirts. More freedom to feel the skin breathe and plus... whenever i wear them... it makes me feel better.

Sandy: You got to admit... Jeremy seems more at full confidence and more upbeat nature when he's wearing a dress and or skirt.

Simisear: *Not seeing Camerupt* Wait a minute! Where's Nova? Camerupt's gone.

Sandy: He's closeby... He's saw a small flock of Numel's and is playing with them a little bit. We figured that with the stress he's been feeling over missing the Rising Star so much and worrying about what was going on with everyone in the team... Namely Lisa, Nicole, and the rest of the bree... it just felt right. We'll see him as we head back to the area where the tournament's supposed to be held.

Jeremy: Hopefully he's not in any mischief. He tends to get a little hyper sometimes when he's with his kind. That's what the Rising Star would usually tell the family.

It was then that...

Anistar: Jeremy, there's something you should know. Something that Donald had told us while you were out battling against Maxie. Something about how he was related to your family and what happened.

Simisear: Huh?
