Bruce Levi - Revelation
"Yes sir, she attempted an escape" the soldier announced to his superior, standing firmly in his place. He had his entire gear on and was drenched in sweat. He'd been on shift for almost four hours straight in the beaming sun.
"Where is she held up now?" Mr. Levi asked the soldier, his glass empty of vodka. "We didn't know where to take her, so we insulated her in the cell."
"What of the boy?"
"He escaped our gunfire. In the meantime, we found a new survivor entering our barracks. We proceeded with caution and followed procedure to the book sir. Do you wish to meet him?"
"I'm more concerned for the girl right now soldier. Lead a small unit out into the woods and attempt to capture the boy. I will be going to the cell block to have a little chat with our treasure. Get Higgins and Jones to accompany me. Before you head out, make sure the gates are secure. We don't want anybody breaking in during our absence. The remainder of the soldiers are to protect Haywood at all cost. I doubt anything will happen, but its procedure" Bruce instructed, standing from his leather seat and strapping on a shoulder holster. He placed his pistol in the leather hutch and walked outside the office as the informing soldier followed distantly.
"Get that truck back to the lot, nobody comes in nor leaves while I'm gone."
"How about the man who we just checked sir?"
"Were there any inquiries that didn't suffice with regulation? Did he violate the code in any way?"
"No sir. We retrieved his weapons and are prepared to interrogate with delicacy sir!"
"Interrogate first, then allow him entrance to Haywood. Tell him that I will personally come meet him when I return from my duties. Continue further with the schedule posted, but keep an eye on him."
"Sir yes sir!"
After that little interaction between supreme leader and lieutenant, Bruce parted ways. He was accompanied by the two soldiers he called for and headed to the cell where the girl was kept. The road there was silent, not a single word was spoken, not a single question asked. Some said that Bruce Levi was in the zone at the moment, they feared breaking him out of it. There seemed to be a flaming aura precipitating from the pores of his skin, his body raising in temperature in the process. No only was it obvious from his facial expression, but also from his body language that he was inflamed in rage. Truth is, since this girl entered the gates of Haywood, it had been issue after issue. Bruce Levi has had his buttons pushed more in the last two days than he had in the last six months. This upcoming encounter would be the event of a lifetime for these soldiers, they will finally see Mr. Levi's true colors.
As they came up to the building the girl was being held captive, Bruce got out of the truck before it even parked, quickly rushing towards the entrance. His steps were heavy, his shoulders locked tightly as his fist clenched even more solid. For a second, Bruce stood in front of the door, his hand on the doorknob. At first it looked like he hesitated to open the door, but a closer look showed Bruce was just merely calming himself. He was taking soft breaths as if holding himself captive of the rage that wanted to embody him. Suddenly, his entire expression changed, a smile now covered his face. The two soldiers that were accompanying him were instructed to wait outside. Sadly, they weren't going to be allowed to watch the show.
Then the door opened, the line behind Bruce would blind the girl instantly. At first she would not know who entered, she would only spot a shadow, but once the door was closed, the obvious would become unmissable. Bruce, the father of her unborn child had arrived to meet in eternal feud. Unaware of his connection with her, he started off by turning on the lampshade on the small counter. She sat tied to chair, unable to move, but could still speak. "I've been told you've been causing a lot of trouble in my town. First you stab one of my soldiers in the shoulder, you actually killed him from loss of blood did you know?" he lied, trying to make her feel as bad as he possibly could. "After that, I witnessed you exit the crowd during my speech. Did you know that doing so is against Haywood regulations? The punishment - DEATH!" he yelled. His face was right before hers. His breath was blowing down her neck as he used his hand to weave along her forearm. Then with a sudden thrust, he slapped her across the face. "You've caused me too much trouble! The only reason you live is because you're a goldmine to.....to these...Raiders. If you haven't already found out, I'll be trading you to a bunch of pirates for supplies to continue raising my town" Bruce then pinched the tip of her chin. "To us, you're a goldmine. We were very fortunate to have come across you. Maybe if circumstances were different things could have worked out for you, but its not like that." His hands then sneaked passed her oblivious defenses and started up her thigh to her sacred chastity. "It's too bad I have to give you away, but business is business" then he backed away. "You've forced my hand against my own. You've killed one of my men, you've killed our town's doctor. Who else will get hurt if you stay? It's too risky to keep you, so I bid you farewell. Thank you for your sacrifice, you will always be remembered. Until the deal is made, you will remain here. We will feed you, and when the time comes, we shall make you presentable for our benefactor. If only....." he said, heading to the door.
