The year is 20xx it has been three years since the defeat of the creator of the Palaces, and the Phantom Thieves' ultimate victory. After the events that led a certain someone to pursue everyone's happiness and the acceptance of a past reality it seemed everything in Tokyo had settled down with the arrest of the prime minister candidate's arrest. The Phantom Thieves while remaining in contact split off in many different directions. In this absence the peace remained for a time but slowly but surely the area of Tokyo has once again started to show worrying signs. Vanishing people, and rumors of corruption spreading out once more. The City of Tokyo seems to have regressed? Shadow Activity signs have sprang up in parts of the city as recorded by the Kirijo Group. In order to find out what had happened they sent some operators into the city only to find the source of the 'Palaces' as they were called by some unnamed young man who had appeared to some of the operators. Unable to truly find out what has happened the Kirijo Group has called in a allied group known as the Townsend Union, founded by an American by the name of Leo Townsend who had been working on technology to assist in fighting said shadows. The Townsend Union sent some of their own operators with special equipment preparing for the worst. Unfortunately they lost most of their team though non confirmed dead, leaving their Senior Operator a detective from Inaba by the name of Suzuki Nao, and a young combat specialist by the name of Kamiya Yori. Their ranks depleted they are now assisted by an inexperienced but talented new group. Hopefully they'll find the source of the palaces and end them.

Rules/FAQ:
1. All standard roleplay rules apply including the ban of meta gaming without consent, and god playing.
2. You must be accepted by me personally on the OOC before you can post in the IC. No exceptions to the contrary.
3. You must use a persona from your arcana if you pick a canon one (Fanon/non canon are allowed) and your character's personality must reflect at least a good chunk of your arcana. If your chosen for lovers for example you shouldn't be a self-hating loner who wants nothing but personal gain.
4. Characters ages are fine but are encouraged to be older than say 15. If you're in school age range and aren't from tokyo do explain how you've managed to get out of school duties.
5. AS GM I'm reserving the right to deny anything for any reason given. This is also extending to the chance to deny entry to people who ask to join if they have done me wrong in the past.
6. No legitimately insane individuals (talking about PC's). Don't want psychopaths murdering the rest of the party.
7. Players who don't post after a lengthy period of time without warning (notice on the OOC, or private message) are subjected to their character being removed.
8. Exchange/ foreign people are allowed but preference is towards native Japanese.
9. There will be no discord for this roleplay. I have been on this site since way before it died and came back. In that time i've completed TWO roleplays. If players make one for themselves that is up to them. If you have a personal question pm me, or comment on here.
10. I will not be playing a character myself all interactions I will make will be played by Npcs within the party. I will ask that you refrain from comparing me to them because they are not me, and I playing a role as the dm.
11. You may choose to either summon your mask in the style of the phantom thieves, or the Persona 3 cast with their weapons of choice.
12. You may start with your persona awakened, or not I lean towards the former note that the latter will mean you will be playing support until you either work up the courage to shoot yourself, or face your rebel spirit.
13: This will be a mostly 60/40 split on rp to combat there will be no stats for combat.
Side note: All players are still capable of using their weapons and can rely on their own martial skill rather than their persona should the need arise. Assuming they're trained. Non-trained people can use simple weapons like pipes and such. There is no lock on a weapon style being unique to one person so multiple people can say use swords.
