@POOHEAD189 Accepted! Add the staff to your inventory. Your knowledge of ancient languages grants you the ability to decipher ancient occult runes, identify historical artefacts, and you can recall ancient history you have read about. You can recognise the work of different historical factions easier.
@Dark Cloud I didn't put out an interest check so that's why the start is moving a little differently :D I might open one but it'd just be the same information
Dungeons are dangerous places. Every 10 minutes, or when the PCs make alot of noise, an encounter check is made to see if anything notices you.
Dungeons are often dark. Light sources will be required to explore most places.
If PCs think they've missed something, they can choose to spend 10 minutes to Search. This check has a chance to fail.
You can try to Listen at Doors to hear if a monster is behind it. Some monsters, such as undead, are silent. This check has a chance to fail.
You can try to move silently to sneak around. This check has a chance to fail.
@Dark Cloud You can investigate the Monkeys, Pool, Dark Corridor, Glowing Corridor, ect. for more information.
Think it'll take a little bit of time for me to gauge the right level of information to give before more thorough investigations
Edit: Don't have access to my mapping software on mobile and not too pleased with this one. Might go Analogue. Waterfall is beside the stairs (blue line):
@Dark Cloud Some monsters might be more amenable to you, but overall not drastically different
Edit: also got grumpy enough with the map software I might try drawing one by hand. Whether it sees the light of day revolves around my total inability to draw inside the lines...
