[IC] The Academy

Thomas looked into Gwen's eyes "I... Yes... Yes you can trust me..." Thomas looked around to make sure nobody else was listening "I heard... I heard Roxy is planning a revolution in the academy... She plans to overthrow the Admin and the savants.., leaving Roxy and her people in charge"

[Sapphire]

Gwen cursed silently, "Of course she is, I wouldn't expect her to be used to peacefully living amongst other people. Roxy is suddenly not at the top so her reaction is rise to what she views as her rightful place. If the Admins found out there would be hell, I will stop her. If it comes to it we will fight, I ask only that you don't side with her, it may be dangerous to openly support me." Gwen sighed, "That being said I'm not sure I can do this on my own." Having recovered from her headache Gwen quickly finished the walk to the cafeteria. Slipping inside quietly she stood unnoticed in the door frame of the kitchen, "Roxy, a word?" She said quietly with a calm look in her eyes.

"Yea yea in a minute."Roxy said as she stirred a pot of mac and cheese. It wasn't the best supper but it wasn't bad either. "Alright. Gwen isn't it? What do you want?"

[Sapphire]

"I know what you're planning and I'm here to tell you it's stupid. You'll get caught and put in detention, and you'll take the others with you. I don't expect you to be happy about it but I want you to think long and hard about what you're doing." Gwen turned away to hide the dark look on her face, "You should know, I don't have any record of someone coming back from detention, I don't know what happens there but I doubt it's any thing good." She didn't turn to face Roxy again.

"Blah blah blah." Roxy said as she rolled her at Gwen. "I don't care if you like my plan or not. This school lied to my father and I am not going to let them get away with it. I am not impressed by the threat of detention. I will do everything I can to go home."

Addilyn eyed Roxy and Gwen with an eyebrow raised, what in the world were they talking about? Hmm, maybe it didn't matter but she was still curious and continued to listen to their conversation.

"Blah blah blah." Roxy said as she rolled her at Gwen. "I don't care if you like my plan or not. This school lied to my father and I am not going to let them get away with it. I am not impressed by the threat of detention. I will do everything I can to go home."

Gwen shook her head slightly, "There are things much much worse than being trapped here and if you are sent to detention I fear that you will face punishment worse than death." Gwen rubbed her temples, "I know I care to much but I will not let you do this, I will stop you." Gwen turned back to face Roxy, "I'm sorry it had to go like this but I gave you a choice and this ends now." Gwen had a cold and calculated look on her face but it barely hid the sadness and caring that lied underneath.

"There is nothing worse then death." Roxy replied cockily. She knew that she was probably the only person her that wasn't afraid of detention. What could they possibly do to her? Roxy had seen and experinced more then most of the kids her. The threats didn't scare her. "Look Gwen if you want to stay here then I'm not going to stop you. But I for one am not going to give them my life. Not without a fight."

Gwen almost laughed, "I wouldn't have tagged you as naïve Roxy but you're just full of surprises. You of all people should know but then again most people are ignorant of the truth. I though you and your father would have been smarter. Death is release, it frees you from what could be a world of pain. If you cross the admins they will be unforgiving, you will wish you could die but they won't let you. Roxy I cant make you see the truth but I can try to protect you. I will stop you right here right now." Gwen wanted to tell her the truth, about how she was investigating the academy, how she was trying to find a way to take down the admins but it was too dangerous. Part of her had known Roxy would be a liability from the start.

"You do what you think is necessary ad I'll do the same. I don't care what they do. Ive seen and experienced a lot more then most people here. It is better to have the Administration's attention on me then other people." Roxy stated.

[Vortex]

Thomas sighed nervously, he hoped he had not just caused the beginning of the fall of the academy, he was starting to like it here. Thomas walked inside to observe the conversation between the girls.

[Sapphire]

"The only problem I have is your plan to take over, I couldn't care less if you try to escape. You'll die and that really isn't my concern, if you try and take this place from the control of the admins they will make you suffer." Gwen shot Roxy a glare, "I will not let you control us, these people are innocent and I will protect them. Drop it and I'll leave you alone, deal?"

"Please. Don't be stupid. Do you think that they invited people like me without expecting them to take over?" Roxy glared at Gwen. "Do you think they let me keep my knives for kicks and giggles? If I dont do what they expect they are going to get suspicious."

[Sapphire]

"Yes I believe they did, they expected you to try to escape but not take over. The knives were part of the deal your father made and to be honest you shouldn't be surprised if it turns out your father knew you wouldn't ever be able to leave." Gwen sighed, "They've been suspicious of all of us from the start, they expect almost nothing from you, your job is easy and simple, they don't care whether or not your rebel, its just a common trait among your kind." She was struggling to keep her words in check, a slip of her true purpose and she wouldn't last the hour.

Addilyn couldn't help herself, in the heat of the moment she started laughing. What they discussed seemed serious but it was all just stupid banter of plans and taking over the school.

"If my father knew then I will kill him. I highly doubt that he did. Who would want their only cxhild disappearing in a school like this." Roxy replied glaring at Addilyn. "I don't care what you say. I for one plan to escape this stupid school. If I have to take control to do that I will."

[Sapphire]

"Big words, your father was a ruthless man I wouldn't trust him even if he was my father. He also is not likely to be dumb, he would stick you somewhere where he was sure you couldn't escape but you are nothing if not stubborn." Gwen frowned and decided she was done talking, she had given Roxy more than enough chances and she doubted she could change her mind, "Taking over the school is the most idiotic way to try to escape but if you're hell bent on it then I say we put some money where are mouths are." Gwen had a chilling grin on her face.

"If you have a better suggestion princess I have get to hear it. Until I do I am going to assume I am the only one that thinks this school is more then it appears to be. I am not willing to give them my life without a fight."Roxy said glaring at Gwen.

[Sapphire]

Gwen wanted to shout at Roxy, that was the only reason why she was even here. "You'd do best to keep those thoughts to yourself, they are the ones that get you killed. If I were you I'd look for the right people and bide my time." Gwen gave a tiny wink as she spoke , "But you're less patient, not even willing to look, I'd bet if one stood right in front you wouldn't know it." Gwen raised in eye brow, she wasn't sure if Roxy would get the hints. "If you want to talk it out some more I'll be at the Savant dorms, I'm going to take a nap." Gwen turned to leave, tipping off Roxy was very dangerous, if the Admins picked up on it she would be in deep trouble.

Marco listened to the conversation that Roxy and Gwen were having. For him, it was just entertainment. When they finished, he decided that there wasn't any point in being there, so he sat down and ate the mac and cheese. It was actually quite good. Around as good as something cooked by people who have never cooked could be.
