What I've noticed since joining..

Since I've joined this forum I've noticed a lot of things I am not familiar with as a long time RPer that wasn't ever used on other forums. For example;

I've noticed a lot of people use FxM etc in their looking for interest posts, which I figured out what it meant over time.

I've also noticed that many people seem to be horny smut writers only .

What happened to old fashioned meet and greet in a thread characters? I know that's what the tavern is for ;) but I've just had kind of a shock of new since joining.

1) FxM, MxF, etc. have been used plenty in other sites. It's not exactly a RPG exclusive thing.

2) That's only if you browse 1x1. Anywhere else is rather tame.

3) /shrug I guess no one really wants to RP that kind of topic anymore.

Stay away from the 1x1 to avoid a lot of the smut.

You might still get occasional DMs, from the weirdest people, asking you to RP some shit, but for the most part that is all quarantined to 1x1

You could always make a new IC Tavern type deal.

Dungeons and Dragons, Elder Scrolls, Fallout, Noir Settings.
Lots of places taverns would fit right in.
