Atlan sighed as he picked up the menu and pointed at a random meal, grunting as he did.

"I'll take this"

"Right away!" Tsurara ran to the kitchen and after 20 minutes or even more she came with stew, frozen stew . "sorry to keep you wainting!" she plated the bowl on the table with a huge smile

Atlan smiled, she was a nice girl, he hopped that no one tryed anything on her, but alas realality was a morbid thing, killing off the best of us and leaving suckups and greedy tycoons in there ripple. he took a spoon to the soup only to hear a clink. He looked down at the bowl only to begin grinding his teeth, it was frozen, they didn't even cook the soup, they prepared it all in advance. He slammed his hand on the table, why was this place so popular, the people were loud and the food wasn't even cooked. Atlan let out a deep breath as he looked at the waiter.

"could you heat this for me?" spoke clearly irritated and forced a fake smile.

''Yes!'' Tsurara took the bowl and ran into the kitchen, she came back with the stew, froen again

Atlan sigh as he noticed the stew was still frozen, he pressed his middle finger down as salt sprayed from his sleeve, it was supposed to be used to blind people but it could thaw something just as good. Still it aggravated him the nasty joke she was playing on him.

"I would suggest that you be nicer to your customers, we are the reasons you have any money" he said in a blank voice, no smile this time.

Tsurara put her hands on the table and it started to freeze, "you really think so? im not here for money" she said with a voice as cold as her hands, Altan could see him reflected i nher big yellow eyes

Atlan looked at himself in her eyes, he seemed to be more well kempt then he thought, he pulled his jacket up closer, it was colder here. He stared back his eyes showed no emotion they looked more like marbles that had been placed were his eyes should have been, and might as well have been. He smiled at the last comment, she wasn't there for money how sweet. He sighed as he began to crack the soup with his fork, the salt did a good job clearing it, the tables were slick, and it took him a moment to realize they were covered in ice, he realized something was odd.

"ma'am why is everything frozen?" he said forgetting everything that happened before.

"i like it that way" she said and walked away not before freezing the solesof his shoes, they were like glued to the floor now, she returned with a super hot stew and her hand were melting

Atlan looked around, no one seemed to mind the fact her hands were melting, he took a handkerchief and wiped her hands, but they continued to drip away, in fear of what she was he tried to escape only to find himself stuck, he held in his fear and looked as if it didn't bother him. He took the soup with a thank you, though it seared his hands he held in the pain and ate quickly, dripping bits of the boiling hot stew on the frozen bits of his loafers. He was going to have nightmares about this, maybe they'd join the ones about the murderer.

Tsurars chuckled when Altan used his hankerchief, she then looked at her hands and blowed softly on them stopping them from melting and even healing them. she then walked to the kitchen and didnt come out again, her job there was over so she walked out by a door there was in the kitchen

Atlan took out a bill from his pocket, he owned not a wallet or a credit card, it was to make it harder to track him, a pet peeve of his. He sighed as he walked out and headed to his housed, scared by the woman's hands and the freezing he was sure there was a reasonable explanation, but could think of none.

Tsurara walked to the street and bumped into Altan, when her hand touched his he could feel it was freezing, but than that it was burning as if he had touched dry ice, he fell to the flor on her butt

Tsurara stood up by herself and dusted off her furisode, she walked away ignoring the man, the floor where she fell was froen

Atlan sighed as he picked the knife up and slipped on the ice and slid past her, tumbling downhill towards his house, he had come to the conclusion she was an ice maker, or a murderer.

leaving the restaurant and entering the city streets outside.
