Jaden turned and went back inside, returning to Bee and Zi. He had to be careful. He kept his gaze down and head slightly lowered, avoiding Zi's gaze. He'd overheard the fight and knew what to do. It was luck, yes, but he had a very low chance of actually getting away with this. I have to play my cards right. He entered just in time to hear Zi's words and spoke in Whisper's voice.

"For once he's right. Cassia isn't somebody to mess around with."

Her ear twitched as she looked up, sniffing the air, she frowned. "You don't smell like Whisper.." She steps back a bit, not trusting the figure using Whispers voice. Her tail lashed.

Zi studied Jaden, stepping forward when Bee stepped back. He sighed, glancing at Bee. "She's not a shapeshifter," He shrugged and gave Jaden some space. Since he couldn't see the shapeshifter's eyes, he couldn't be sure. He also wasn't exactly trained too well when it came to random people who thought they were heroes. One day the girl will get hurt.

"Do we really have time for this? No. We need to go now, like Zi said."

Her tai! Flicked. She had no idea what to do. For once she actually felt as if she could be of use and yet she also felt useless. She knew that this wasn't the real Whisper. But she didn't know how to make someone believe her. Her tail lashed as the lights flickered above her. A sign that she was stressing over a matter. Whenever she gets to stressed or overloaded her powers go a little out of her control. Which mostly never ends well for anyone

Zi noticed Bee's distress and sighed. He looked to Jaden now. "Give us a minute?" It was a test. He figured the real Whisper, annoying as she could be, would refuse and continue to behave as such. Or at least I hope so... He believed Bee, but he wasn't about to show it.

Jaden glared at Zi but nodded and stepped outside, standing near the door. The door was slightly open, but he wouldn't be able to hear unless they were yelling or speaking too loudly. No, he would have to change forms if he wanted to hear. He couldn't risk that.

She started to pace, the whole rooms lights flickering now as she thought of what to do and the consequences of what would happen if she didn't do something.

Zi grabbed Bee's arm, his face serious. "I know it's not her. But whatever it is, it knows where she is. Nobody is going to hurt you, or take that key. I swore to protect you, Mistress, and I plan to," He told her, trying to calm her down. He'd seen what happened when her powers got out of control, and he did not want that happening.

Jaden remained at the door.

Her ears where flat. The lights flickering, her hand clasped tight around the key. "I've already been shot! It's just a matter of time before the key is taken too!!" A few light bulbs burst.

He nodded, understanding. "I'm aware of the risks. Perhaps it would be best if you did not have possession of the key for a while. We've been together for years, and I do pray you trust me."

The rest of the light bulbs bursted instantly. "No!! Nobody else can touch it!!" She yelled, her mane and tail bright red as her other hand moved up, even though pain shot through her shoulder and the wound opened again, pouring blood.

Crap. He pulled back, scanning the area. He had very little medical training and wished he hadn't chased Whisper off- the real Whisper. "I- It was just a suggestion- I-" He tripped over his words. "Nothing bad is going to happen. We'll use the impostor to find the real Whisper and we'll fix this. You need to calm down before you hurt yourself," Or me.

Her hands tightened around the key, more blood pouring out of the wound and not stopping, she was already starting to get consumed by her wild powers, stuff beginning to float around her.

Zi stepped back from her, cursing himself. He really was not good at this. He'd lost his touch after Richter. He moved backward toward the door. "Whisper? Little help here?" He snapped at Jaden.

Jaden stepped inside, glancing between Zi and Bee. "What did you do?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. He was still in the form of Whisper, and now he was learning things about her. His hand went to the knife Whisper kept at her side, but it wouldn't be the same knife Whisper had used when helping Bee; just another mistake on his part.

Stuff started to fly around the room, stuff like wall paper and metal being pulled from the walls around her.

Zi smiled sadly and retreated through the door. "Sorry, if you're really her," He told Jaden before slamming- and locking- the door. His plan had worked perfectly.

Jaden muttered a curse under his breath then studied Bee, moving away from the door and managing to dodge a chunk of wall that came flying at him. He paused then took a deep breath and changed forms. He became none other than Bee's mother, who he knew was dead. But hey, spirits, right?

"Bee, sweetie," He purred.
