The reason why I said 'denied' (do note it's not official, so your character's still accepted Scraggy) is because there just seems to be a cliche aura hanging around the 'training and fighting for entire childhood to become number one' bit of the biography.

I guess you're right about that, but it helps explain most of the differences. Without it, it would make no sense and I probably couldn't come up with a better explanation for the fighting type. Without the fighting type, they wouldn't be that strong, thus I'd need a lot of help and bugging everyone else to 'save mee, saaave meeee' which is a worse cliche applied to me than 'Train to become #1'. Also don't get the random quote.

The thing is about the training is that most of the time, that's how people get stronger and/or know how to fight, so...

uh, would you mind that as the reason for the typing, Scraggy? Also, I'm well aware that training is how people typically get stronger or better at things... but that's also why it ends up being so overused, unfortunately.

The thing is, how would surviving a beat-up stamp fighting type on them? I'm pretty sure that pichu from the first or second RP didn't come out as a fighting type. That, and that reason would most likely make the character underpowered from either trauma or a deformity that would again, make me constantly cry out for help.

Anyway, just because you fight for your life, it doesn't necessarily mean you'll be deformed in life. Stop dissing on the babies and kids who had cancer or heart problems.

Just make it so that in this case, you character recovers fully. Because, you've just pointed out the bad side of childhood.

Where in my post did I diss on kids who had cancer and heart problems? It's like you're trying to get into an argument. And just because they never happened doesn't mean I can't still make a point about them.

He wasn't referring to anything you did. He was referring to others in real life who fight for their life, and don't end up deformed afterwards.

'Diss' isn't an insult. If I wanted to insult you, I'd be swearing at you as hard as that Zoroark did in your earlier IC post. That claim was also merely an observation, so forgive me how I view others.

I gotta leave to a restaurant soon, and I can't keep talking to you. I have an IC post to work on at the moment, so I would suggest a bit of quiet; we can argue later, or preferably not at all. Just not now.
