Alexander "Alex" Colins
Gender
Male - He/Him
Age
17
Personality
Alex has always been a loner, a quiet and at times shy person. Someone that values his time alone though he can be social when he feels like it. Thus, he did not have many friends growing up in Philadelphia and even fewer when he moved to Walson. Not that he minds having fewer friends, but he does enjoy good company from time to time. And tends to be loyal to his friends.
He dislikes being put on a pedestal and absolutely hates being compared to his genius sister. Knowing that he can not get on her level and always knowing that her accomplishments will always outdo his. And his parents not caring or noticing how this affects him and treat her as the clear favorite child of the family. Causing a rift between the two siblings that is barely noticed by her and at times gets angry about the whole situation.

Background
Alex was born in Philadelphia and is the youngest of two. His father a writer, and his mother a doctor. Growing up, Alex had always been in the shadow of his genius older sister. Always falling short of what his sister could do despite his own talents. Causing a rift between the two siblings that his parents and his sister did not notice as they paid only some attention to him as his sister got most of their attention. Alex realizing that he can not change this despite his best efforts, reluctantly settling into this state of affairs. However, he would not stop him from being angry about the situation.
By the time both of them reached high school. His parents wanting a break from the busy city life decided on moving to his father's hometown of Walson. Alexander was less than eager to make the move and hated that he had to move away from what little friends he had. Either way, Alex would come to like the small town of Walson. The scenery, the people, and how peaceful it was compared to Philadelphia. Still, his situation with his parents and sister did not change, and Alex started to isolate himself from his family.
When his sister finally left for college when Alex was halfway throughway high school. Did his parents start to care and give him more attention, to Alex's surprise and, though he did enjoy it. He knew it was only because his sister was finally gone and not because he had done something to gain their attention, which made it a bittersweet experience for him.
Now his senior year, Alex is pondering what to do after high school. He did not care that he can not be as good as his sister. Not alot could, and just wants to do what he wants to do. Excel his way, and if his parents are not welcoming to it or ignore him, then that is their problem. Not his and unknown to him, his last year of high school will be one to remember.
