Katrice looked at the jobs. "The group of trolls sounds great."

A smell of rotting flesh came up behing katrice, and so did a man.

"c-can I join you?"

Dragneel would immediately take down the threat jumping on the man and growling at him. "Dragneel down!" Katrice said and Dragneel backed off still growling. "Um hi who are you?"

Mehrdad stood up, looking down on the girl, he was very tall.

"I... I'm Mehrdad, but call me merl"

Katrice smiled up at him. "I am Katrice and this is Dragneel." Dragneel would look up at Merl and bark playfully.

Mehrdad looked at the girl as smiled, she hadn't said anything about how he smelled, but he digressed.

"m-mind if I join you guys?"

"No we don't mind." Katrice said, Dragneel barked happily and started to chase his tail.

Mehrdad stepped into the circle, no longer ashamed by his smell. He looked at the mission.

"so what are we doing?"

"Chasing down a group of trolls." Katrice said smiling at Merl.

Merl smiled back, showing his yellowing teeth, quickly placing his lips over them.

Dragneel licked Merls legs trying to get attention. "Sorry about him." Katrice said.

Mehrdad leaned down to pet the dog, smiling at it. He had actually made a pal.

"so ready to set out?"

Dragneel yipped with joy and licked Merl's hand. "Dragneel stop it." Dragneel backs off with his tail wagging. "So sorry Merl he acts up a lot."

Mehrdad laughed as the snail fell off the dog, and was quickly grabbed and placed back on merls shoulder.

"I have a pet too, I call him topaz"

Katrice smiled at topaz. "I like him already."

Merl pet topaz with his finger and looked at the other two in the group, they seemed to be skilled and friends. He was always alone and had no training or skill.

Katrice looked back at the group. "Don't worry about them they're sour."

Merl shifted his black armor settled his sickles and put topaz in his chest plate.

"so we ready to go?"

"Whenever they are." Katrice pointed to the others.
