-the sounds of goats screaming echoes off the mountains through the mists as thunder rolls overhead, a shadow emgerges slowly-
Well hiya, my name's Baphomini! I come from the year 2011 when the web was littered with roleplaying websites made with Webs, Wix, and Weebly where I was the owner of over six individual websites and admin to many more. I first made my discovery of the hobby when I was in middle school or so, shortly after I discovered the Warrior series by the Erin Hunter group (who can relate?), I didn't yet know where my journey would lead me in that small chatbox on that random website back then, but eventually I discovered a little website called Kugyay, and the rest from there is history. From Warrior cats to nekos and eventually, everything under the sun, roleplay was a central part of my life for years. It was my one true expression, it was my practice of prose, but most of all, it was my introduction to many good friends, some who I still have today, though we've distanced some with the happenings and changes of life.
I'm sure you noticed that I speak of my experience in a past tense, and the reason for that is that it has been quite some time since I last had a serious roleplay. Years in fact, and as a result, I fear I may be awfully rusty. In my mind, I'm starting again anew, and because of that, despite my experience, I'd like you all to view me as being somewhat new to all of this. It'll take some time for me to get back into the swing of things, and all I ask for in the meantime is a little patience and support c:
If you do choose to take me on as a partner in roleplay, I love everything supernatural and fantasy, with a modern twist. My favorite roleplays are the ones that take place in modern day, in a world much like our own, but with a fictional twist. Demons, monsters, witches, you name it. If you can make it a character, then it can exist in the world. My most prized possession is a world I call The Clusterfu- you can guess the rest, which is, well, as the name suggests. A multi-realm of chaos with every possible species and every possible plot. Everything from crime and horror to war and the end of existence as anyone knows it. I suppose I tend to lead towards darker plots, the more twisted the better, but honestly, I love any plot that doesn't have to do with fading to black or excessive amounts of combat (I'm just not good at writing either). I have 700+ characters indexed, only a small percentage of which are actually on Toyhou.se at this point, and all of them are just ready and waiting for the right roleplay to make their debut!
When I'm not roleplaying, I'm usually solving crimes and mysteries in various horror games or working away building new worlds either for my sweet baby universe, or just for fun one-offs. I'm trying to get back into making art, just the same as I'm trying to get back into roleplay, but that's a much harder hurdle to get over than this.
I look forward to becoming part of this community! Until we speak...
-the mists grow thicker until all in sight is nothing but white and the shadow fades with the rest of the world...smells like petrichor...-
