[OOC] RWBY x Monster Hunter: Remergence

(Update) Hello and welcome. This post comes at a bad time since I'm going to be away on business but I figured I show you all what I had in mind before when I did an interest check. It didn't get many views but I figured I'd put this here at least for the week and see if any are interested in this regardless since I'm still building it. I'll be watching it through my iphone but don't expect immedate responses. I'll try to answer any questions you may have in the meantime since I sadly rushed this. Though I am considering SOME world building here if you want to make suggestions.

To whoever reads this...you have stumbled upon a piece of history. Perhaps more than one history...who can say. Mind you, it's up to you to decide if what you read is real or mere fiction.

What your about to read are stories from many individuals who inhabitant this world...stories that will affect this world in many a way that even I have not seen in a very long time...

This world called "Remergence".

As to who am I...well let's just say my name also has a story...but for another time.

Hi all. Sorry about the double post. Just letting you all know that I'm back from my business trip and now can start putting some time into this now. Though again, even though it's a "free" section RP, it's still sort of a mess it seems. There are parts of this worlds history that I'll eventually reveal but as I said, I'll allow some "world building" options if you'll post suggestion here.

As for characters, just post them here first. I ain't looking for anything complicated either in terms of how much info you give.

Now...let's actually see if anyone still has an interest in this -_-'

Description:
George is a man with sun tanned white skin and vibrant fire red/blond hair. Standing at 6’5 feet tall, he is something of an imposing figure, rarely encountering those who are physically taller. Broad of shoulder, George physically looks the part of the ‘noble defender of mankind’ that huntsmen strive to be… with the exception of his eyes. George’s pupils are silted and green/golden, predatory reptilian in appearance and yet… more then just a mere lizard in origin.

George’s huntsmen attire is a modification on an old classic: Taking inspiration from medieval Fredia knight plate mail, the armour takes advantage of modern metalwork techniques and alloys to shield vital organs and limbs while reducing the weight of each individual plate respectively. It has also been modified with freedom of movement in mind (considering the enhanced abilities of huntsmen and aura, the reduction in defence of these joints is not a concern).

George carries a pair of weapon's with him: a trick lance called Slayer and a trick bladed glove called Claw.

Slayer is a lance in its base form… and in practice its primary function is to either be a deviating alpha strike or a heavy killing blow. Slayer’s ’transformation’ is that the lance part of the weapon can be disconnected, revealing the handle via which it is held to be a one handed war pick. Slayer’s disconnection process has two modes: the first is a simple twist of the wrist that disconnects the pair. The second outright launches the lance forward like a missile at speed.

Claw in its base form is an armoured gauntlet with retractable knife blades connected to the fingers, giving it a ‘claw’ like appearance and giving options for blunt, piercing and slashing damage. It also allows George to use the hand for tasks such as throwing dust grenades, which he keeps on his person in the field.
