[IC] Blood of Two Worlds

Damien wondered if what they said was the wrong thing to say. He knew that Status and even rank, among Werewolves for instance had more say than those below them though considered everyone's opinion. His expression softened as he placed a hand on her shoulder. "Forgive me if that was not what you may want to hear. I only say such things because it is only logical to use what you have for yourself, which is your status for people to see and listen to."

Ana sighed and said “I know it’s true…I just wish I could stay in the shadows but if I’m going to find a way to stop this madness…I have to act right?” Dante nodded and said “and with that we need to rest. All of us”

Damien nods in agreement to rest. They needed it and hoped all would work out in the morning. "So what's the room numbers?" He asks.

Ana pointed and said “room over there is yours Damien, it’s the biggest one. That way if you shift ot anything you won’t feel closed in” Dante moved to the door across and said “night kids. See ya in the morning” he walked inside and shut the door.

Ana moved to sit on the couch, holding her grimwoire on her lap.

Damien was wide eyed surprised when Ana told him about the room and how big it was. He did appreciate the thought of him shifting. Nodding to her in thanks before watching Dante leave to his room. He watches Ana for a moment looking thoughtful. "Are you not getting any sleep?"

Ana shook her head and said “I don’t normally sleep well…figured I’d learn more from my grimoire and see what more secrets have come to light…I’ve had this for so long and it’s always adding more secrets of the Purple Moon and the shadows…I’m hoping something will come up that will help me deal with Panic Discord…”

She looked at him and said “I find it refreshing you don’t know who I am…”

A tilt of his head in curiosity and that she didn't sleep well. What made him more curious was how she found his lack of knowledge refreshing. You could almost peg his head till and curious face to that of a German Shepard. "How so, exactly?" He asks.

Ana sighed and said “before the war I was a wandering soul, exploring the world. But then the war started and I came into it as a no body. I fought to save lives. Using my grimoire to aid in my fighting and saving as many as I could. My magic was something never seen before so that’s how I got the nickname Purple Witch of the Midnight Moon…from how my magic looks and its strength at night. By the end of ghe war I had somehow ended up a hero…”

She got up and moved to the window. “I didn’t want the fame pushed onto me…I just wanted to go back to my old ways…but then the Queen and her fangs were wanting me to take titles and join the high court…but I had no desire for that. So with just Dante with me we vanished. Anyone who knows the history of the war or was there knows my face and my name…I like that you don’t. That you see me for me…not for what history claims I did in the war…”

It was interesting to hear how Ana came from nothing, expected nothing but to help in the war and be given fame that even for him, sounded like alot of take on that even he wouldn't know what he would do with such status and fame if he had been in her shoes.

Honestly if Damien had stayed in the pack. He would have learned much more and eventually about the Purple Witch. But he did not and therefore the rest of the world he learned on his own beside the home of the Vampires. All he had cared about was his freedom. To not be held down but duty and responsibility of something that may not even come to pass.

In watching Ana as she explained her past and how he seemed to refresh her with him knowing so little, it seemed to warm his heart since so far he didn't see the Purple Witch that some spoke of. Just Ana. A fresh pair of eyes and perspective he guessed. "I am glad I don't know you as the Purple Witch then." He says with a smile.

Ana smiled then it slid away and she said “but that won’t be true for long…once I’m back there…around those vampires…the witch will have to return and then you’ll hear all of it…and it will be hard to have to fit that title again…but Dante and you are right. I have to do it so we can finally stop panic discord…once and for all…”

She looked back out the window and said “I wonder what master would say now…seein how vampires turned out…would he be happy? Or weary of what’s to come…”

Walking over to the window Ana looked back out of, Damien shoves his hands in his in his pockets. "I can't speak for this Master you speak of, however I would hate to listen to the exaggerated tales that the Vampires would tell of the Purple Witch. I think I'll stick to what I'm seeing now." He admits to her.

Ana looked at him, her eyes wide. “Wait really? You…would rather just see me? But you’re a warrior, you must value the might of others…wouldn’t it be…more your interest to see someone’s power and strength then just…me?”

[Jazz]

"Yet is is your power and strength I have seen thus far. Not the Purple Witch. You said I have seen you for you, not the titles you carry from what others have that have fought with you yes?" Damien glances to look at her with a curious gaze. "From what have witnessed of stories told no matter how big or small, they tend to get exaggerated in either a good light or bad light. But to witness the power and strength is how we wolves measure a warrior."

Ana blushed a little from his words, stunned. She said “that’s…I guess it’s been too long since I’ve been able to be around my fathers kind…thank you for that. But rest assured not all the tales are over blown…just the effects.” She looked back outside and said “master was a human after all…”

Damien nods, though didn't quite understand how hard it must be to be born and being apart of two different worlds. Three if she counted her Master. "I see. Must have been interesting indeed."

Ana smiled and said “she saved me…when I was alone with no one…back then I hated humans…but she helped me understand that all beings are good and evil…it’s not about race…” she looked back at Damien and asked “Dante thinks we’ve imprinted doesn’t he”

Damien listened to Ana talk about her master, glad she had someone like that. Though did do a double take on looking at her when she mentioned what Dante thought about their relationship. "W-wait Wh-What?!" A blush covering his face as he sputtered and trying to even understand how this question suddenly came about. "I-Imprint? I-I don't think so. He had theories."

Ana sighed and said “Dante doesn’t know the werewolf term but I can sense it from him. It would explain a few things…and that gold glow from before…”
She glanced at him “is it a bad thing?”

[Jazz]

Damien was rubbing the back of his neck with his left hand while trying to figure out what the glow meant. He certainly didn't know. He had never witnessed such an event that he could recall.

Damien shakes his head after some debate in his head. ,"I don't think so but I don't know what the glow was suppose to mean. I haven't seen it happen among the pack before."

Ana nodded and looked back out the window “guess it’s something we will have to figure out…” she moved back to the couch, looking tired as she sat down and opened her Grimoire once more. “You should get some sleep…”
