Could. I mean...be it him. Maybe getting injured enough might kick in a Barbaric like rage. Or if Ana was harmed. But if he was shot, then at least Ana was protected and that would out the assailant's position.

If he went into a barbaric rage, he would go after the assailant and whomever would go to harm him and Ana for now that he sees her as pack. Now that they see each other as friends and comrades.

The only thing is for Damien. He hasn't killed a vampire or any person for that matter and won't recollect killing anyone. These attackers would be his cherry pop on killing. He's hunted animals. That's natural to him.

I am thinking about having Damien turn to the sounds of Ana's cries and stalk toward the three helping Ana since he doesn't understand that they are helping her. But torn if he should kill the other.
