"Hm...maybe? bloodlinked or....descended...." she thinks some, "...I will have to look in my library. There shouldnt bee too many high level shadow fae that would pair with a human for something like this. Chi, I think you can handle this. Dante and I have some research to do."

The sheep man shakes his head, "Sorry captain, this is more of a personal meetng than a one in your offcial capacity. I don't have much freetime myself, but I thought I should come here myself. I want to extend an invitation to our guild. We have many werewolves and lycanthropes, you would be well welcomed."

Dante nodded and said “I would be honored to aid you my lady. Shall we?” Aura came back with a crate of white fruit and said “found them! Elf Fruit. I forgot we got these in a few days ago. Chi, we can make juice for her. This should help”

Bane frowned a little. This was out of the blue. Bane said softly “I’m sorry to say I can’t accept. The Royal Guard is my pack…I have to stay focused on the protection of the city and its people. I can’t split that now. But why offer this now?”

Chi nods, and gets ready to help make juice "juice will be easier to digest, right?"

"The protection of the city.." he nods slowly, how is your...pack? Do you think they think the same of you? The timing isnt that important, not really"

Aura nodded and said “indeed. And we can give it to her slowly while she sleeps. She was very worried about you kitty cat. Should I be jealous?”

Bane nodded and said “seeing my pack is three others by blood but I see this city as my pack. They won’t leave either. Why do you need me? You wouldn’t be asking if wasn’t for some reason to gain something from me”

He blushes, getting to work "I never asked for anyone to care about me..."

"Oh, dont think about it too much about it...It would just be a shame to lose the chance." He looks up as some large and buff werewolves enter the room. they are not part of bane's guard.

Aura smirked and said “no one ever does my kitty cat. That’s how you know it’s real. I mean she did use her shadows to shield you”

Bane glanced back and said “and why would you lose the chance? I’m not going anywhere…” he moved his hands from behind his back to his sides, one moved to his belt.

He sighs, continuing to juice fruit "...yea, she did..."

Ari shrugs, "Oh, I just know how it is. I know people of your type. If you suspect someone, its awfully hard to change your mind. I just wanted to offer you a place with us, but clearly...youre already guarded." he shakes his head and movves to exit, "Thats a shame, but its not like my time was wasted."

the werewolves act like a guard for him, until he gets to the door....and then once Ari reaches the door, they attack with claws and teeth and hybrid forms.

Aura nodded and said “I mean it seems with her logic mind she acted recklessly…and protective…” she pulled a glass out for the juice.

Bane said “I will protect my pack with my life…and that includes the tinker your men tried to jump” he pulled a handle from his belt and his axe appeared in a flash of magic. He hit the first wolf hard across the face and ducked the other one.

"chi grumbles and quietly works to finish the juice "so, how do we get her to drink?"

He chuckles, "Oh yes...I'll take the credit for that. Not like you will be around to implicate me."
And then he walks out "Sorry Captain, but it was a nice chat."

the one smashed in the face falls and is quickly covered by another one, two more leap at him from his other side, claws ready to rip and shred.

Aura moved to the couch and sat behind Ash. She lifted her up and had her lean on her chest. “I’ll hold her up and you carefully and very slowly pour the juice into her mouth. Small amounts until her body takes over. She has to be dehydrated right?”

Bane growled and said “no I’ll be around alright…” he jumped over the table and kicked it up, slamming it into the two wolves hard. He smirked and checked his coat collar and saw the small pin of a wolf head still there. “Ash’s latest gift…got the whole thing. Your finished buddy” he moved and ran for the window, jumping out of it with a crash and landing on his hands and feet on the dirt below. Then he took off running knowing more werebeasts would be on his tail.

He nods and leans in with the cup, being exceedingly careful and clearly not wanting to drown the our girl. the liquid touches her lips, backs off, touches her lips again, bacs off, trickles a few drops past her lips, backs off, and so on...until she is drinking on her own.

Ari glares, and Bane can hear him bellow from above 'after him!"

And as he expects, the werewolf henchmen are not far behind, having shifted into full wolf form for better running and biting.

It only took a few moments for Ash to open her mouth and let the juice slide down her throat. Aura smiled and said “there you go sweetheart. Don’t you worry we have you”

Bane cursed and turned down another alleyway, knowing the city for it it was his own playground. He shifted partly to fight them off of him, getting cut up and slashed a few times. But he does more damaged to them as he tries to lose them. Soon he was able to slip into a back door without them seeing and listened as they ran by. He panted and held his bleeding wounds. “Have to…get to the lad..”

Chi remains careful as he feeds her the juice, taking breaks to let her catch her breath and not stress her out as she was sleeping. When the whole glass was empty, he sighs in relief, and turned around to munch on a fruit himself. "Dante thinks these attacks are a sign of more to come...We might finally have to fight with our fists instead of information."

He sounds lighthearted about it, but internally, he is concerned. He may need to eat some mana foods himself, incase the meeting is somehow ambushed. "I might actually get to use my fighting forms more"

The werewolves that ran by stop after a distance, but as they stop to try to smell him out, they begin to realize how badly wounded they are, and they slink into the shadows.

Aura nodded and said “I’d like to finally kick some butt. But it’s been a while for a few of us. We might be rusty. Do you think she can fight?”

Bane grunted in pain and waited till he was sure they left and snuck out, heading for the dump. His office wasn’t safe. Gear wasn’t secure other. It took him a while to make it to the scrape yard, covered in blood and barely staying on his feet. He stumbled into the entry way, leaning on a metal wall piece. “I’m…here…”

He looked to Ash, before nodding, "I think she can...as long as she's given time to prepare for it"

Hours later, a cat sits by the entrence to the scrap yard, staring up at the moon and occassionally licking his paw. I was a lttle past midnight now. Suddenly, his head snaps over to look in a direction, smelling blood. Suddenly, he jumps down from his sot and morphs into his most recognisable form. RUnning over to Bane, he looks the man over, and also looks around them for any followers, "What happened? Do you need anything?"

Bane stumbled towards him, his blood streaming from his wounds. He saw Chi and said “is…Ash safe? Please tell me…she’s not at the shop alone…” he saw Chi looking behind and said “I lost them…no one…tailed…” he grunted and then fell to his knees, his eyes dull. “Is…she…alright?”

Dante had been on guard duty when he caught the scent of blood and his eyes flashed. He hit his radio and said “my lady, I smell blood. You better come check it out…better it’s not me if the blood is friendly”

"I'm on my way" she returns quickly. The book gets bookmarked, and with a quick step she checks their medical supplies, before using a burst of wind magic to hasten her step."

Chi is uncertain what to do, but he eventually decides to just put his hand on the man's shoulder and try to keep his voice calm, "She is safe. she is with friends...don't die."

Bane chuckled and said “not doing that…just…having a hard time…focusing…too much blood loss…” he swayed a bit and fought to stay awake. “Good…she’s safe…” he pulled the pin off his jacket collar and put it in Chi’s hand. “Keep that…safe…has evidence…to start taking…down the scum…” he grunted and slipping forward a bit.

Chi accepts the pin, quickly absorbing it, untouched, into the body as he shifts to a large tiger man form, to catch Bane as he starts falling forward. "Dante, what do I do?" he calls over

Then there is a gust of wind, and Astra arrives, hanging back bt the shadows, "...Do you vouch for him?"

the tiger man looks down, uncertain, "...I...can say that he is a good man."

"You hesitate to say anything else...why not take him to the emergency clinic? I will send some familiars with you."

Dante appeared behind Astra, covering his mouth and nose. “They will be looking for him at clinics. I was just checking the radio band. A guild is after him. My guess is he said no to the wrong one…but isn’t he the one friend of the tinker? The general I believe. I saw him at her shop my last recon. He may be useful my lady…in his state I can do much with his mind…”

Aura ran out and said “Dante no. His a warrior. Look at his wounds. He fought back hard. We can’t turn him away”

Bane grunted against Chi and said weakly “I…can vouch…for my…self…if Ash trusts you…then I will…too…I smell her on you Chi…whatever I must do…I’ll do it…”
