Astra raises a brow as her shadows are taken.

CHi turns and comes over to stand by her "im here...you fell?"

"interesting" astra says, looking down at her hand, "...you took some of my shadows.."

Ash blinked and said “what?” She tried to sit up, Dante moving to help her. Ash held her head and said “I heard a voice…said something…I haven’t heard since I was little…I didn’t think it was real…then my body felt like a ton of here parts and I couldn’t…”

Dante nodded and said “seems you had a visit from a night god of some kind…”

"A night god.." Astra hums, then smiles, looking back up at ashs aura, "...that makes sense. Did any of them have a child recently?"

Dante looked over and said “no idea. That kind of information isn’t really available to mortals. All I know is the star dust is always left when they reach out…what are you thinking?”

Ash looked at Chi and said “I’m sorry I scared you…it’s happened a couple of times…”

"Im thinking...if she is a demigod...all of our feelings make sense. She would be equivelant to...our princess. Its possible our magic would resonate with that...recognising her in a way."

she looks at ash, "...did you happen to be raised by your father?"

Ash looked over, Dante having made sure they spoke out of ear shot. “I…yes. My father raised me. It was always just us…” she looked at the other men and asked “am I missing g something?”

chi thinks some, "...these two seem to feel strange around you. protective."

Astra nods some, "let me show you" she looks next to her, where she creates a shadow copy of her herself, nodding to it. It slowly walks towards ash, but as it draws closer it begins to waver like her other shadows.

Ash watched and then moved back, wanting to protect the shadow. Then said “why is it in pain when it’s near me?” Dante looked over snd said “pain?” She nodded snd held her head. Dante moved over and took her hand. “Maybe you should rest…it’s been a hard day for you”

"huh. pain..." she murmurs, dispelling the shadow copy "yes rest... but if you feel up to it, while you rest...could you tell us your mothers name?"

Ash looked around and said “Luna…that was my mothers name…but why…” Dante moved to Astra and said “she may not know her true name…I doubt a being like that would tell mortals her true name…what do you want to do?”

"..." she sighs, "...I am just an elf with dark elf lineage. This is above my knowledge.....tell aura everything, she will be better suited for finding out."

She looks at ash and then smiles gently, "Remember when I said I have more mana and experience? As it turns out, I believe that you have more potential. You simply lack understanding and experience. If you could harness that, i feel that you could outclass me."

Ash blinked and then said “I’m not sure I would want to…it’s like telling a pilot to start building ships…even if he is good with his hands. Without the knowledge and experience to use those skills I feel it would be a threat more then aid…”

The door opened and Aura stood there, panting a bit. “It’s the general. His tossing and turning but I think his still asleep. And I can’t wake him” ash looked over and said “oh no. It’s one of his night terrors. Bad timing”

Astra looks confused a moment, then shakes her head, "I think you misunderstand me. It doesnt matter though, you need to do things in order to have exerience doing them." she puases and hums , "...you cant figure out how to build if you dont pick u a screwdriver." she says, clearly grasping, but making the attempt to be understood.

Then aura came, and she sighs. After a moment, she looks at Ash, "...do you know how to handle this too?"

Ash listened to her words and understood what she meant this time. “Oh now I understand. Sorry about that. My brain sometimes doesn’t listen to the extra meaning…” then she looked over at Aura and nodded. “Sadly yes…it’s more common for him than not.” She started to get up and said “I’ll handle it. I don’t want anyone else getting hurt…it would mess with Bane worse if that happened”

The leader couldnt help but wonder if the message actually went through, but she can hope. It wasnt the time to be double checking. "Take Dante with you. he is likely the strongest, physically, i the base at the moment"

Ash blinked then looked at Dante who bowed his head. “Allow me to serve you my angel” Ash blushed brightly and said “okay…” she headed for the door and Dante smirked at Chi. “I’ll protect our angel don’t worry…” he followed her out as Aura looked confused. “Chi? What is going on?”

When the pair reached the door they heard painful sounds and growling. Ash sighed and said “his wounds must have been a trigger. Oh Bane.” She o opened the door and saw Bane on the floor; tossing and turning holding his head as he muttered in his nightmare held sleep. Ash ran to his side and was about to reach for Bane before suddenly she was back a few steps, Dante holding her against his chest. Banes arm had flung out and he had his claws out. Dante said “easy my angel. I can’t let you be hurt. He can’t know it’s you till his nose or ears hear your sweet voice”

Chi huffs as they leave, though clearly annoyed with Dante's teasing, he is also relieved that Astra sent him.

Looking over at aura, he grumbles, "...he think that Ive 'claimed' her or something..."

Astra snirks and laughs.

Aura blinked and then asked “well…have you? I mean you are a cat. It’s your nature right?”

Dante watched as Ash was now holding Bane in her lap and talking to him softly. Dante was watching in awe as the girl was using her shadows in a way she didn’t even know was using her gift. The shadows were calming the werewolf at his core. Dante muttered “my lady…you need to see this…”

He clears his throat, "I am not a cat, I just...like to call myself one."

His words reach her, and astra looks towards the door curiously, "Well, it looks like I have something to do. You two can gossip how you'd like. Aura, you can get a report from dante later on what we've figured out about our guests."

And with that, she walked off to the room they were holding the werewolf.

Aura nodded and said “of course my lady! Chi and I will work on dinner. Come on Chi. Then you can vent about Dante all you want”

Dante stood by the door as he watched Ash tending to the wolf as his lady appeared. He said softly “be quiet, I think she’s in a trance state. I don’t think she even knows I’m here anymore. She was talking to him when her shadows started to wrap around him and then her eyes started glowing. She started humming as well…I’m not sure what this it.
