[IC] The Demon and the Travler

Luner walked through the city streets genlty her glowing blue and red armor shines around her but she rarely needed it. She smiles as she walking froma pub and her fellow guards where staying out and having a good time. She would want them back more more then three and not drunk and the guards understood and they didnt disobey her commands and for good reasons. Luner growled as a theive grabbed her hair and put adagger to her neck. her snake was slithering around in the shadows near her and then she gave him the signal and the snake sprang from the shadows delivering a fatel blow to the man's throat tore it wide open. A different snake came over and devoured that man. Luner pet snake unlike any snake was extremly large and its skin was unpenirable. She had found the poor snake on her warrior trip and had it as a pet ever since. the king and queen loved the snake as did the rest of the guards.

She came to the kingdom smiling and walked to the palace door and walks in and went to the throne room and bowed to the king and queen the snake did the same to them as well. she went to the near side of the throne her head down hwr snake curled around her chair and she strokes its head like it was apet dog. She had bow and arrows as well as sword that glows red and blue causing fear to strike anyone who hit her eyes or the sword metal.

Gero was living in the forest near the kingdom, he was a theif wit ha hack for dragons and destorying places. he was always attacking the kingdom in small waves. Not even the general could beat him back as much as she would have liked to he always came back because he could repair his orgains and other limbs easily without much trouble. He was walking around the forest slowly humming to himself as he walked slowly his cloak hid his face easily.

Hector grimaced at the loud commotion caused by the city. He was never really fond of loud places, and this city was no exception. Choosing to calmly ignore the townspeople, Hector walked the streets, bringing with him an uncanny silence. Brandished in silver armor and a white coat, it was obvious to many that he wasn't from around these parts. Still, that didn't stop him. He had business with the king, and that's all that mattered. His hands covered by clawed gauntlets, he gripped his sword in thought.

To the right of him was a pub, and Hector could see various men losing their brain cells to frothy mugs of cold alcohol. Hector narrowed his eyes in disapproval. A warrior only had time to celebrate in such things after he had cut off his enemy's head. Dwelling on this creed, the swordsman eventually found himself in front of the castle gates. Two guards looked at him skeptically before allowing him safe passage, as if they were expecting him. Giving them both a slight nod, Hector entered the castle's interior.

Deep in the forest, not too far from the kingdom, a small girl with hair as bright as the sun and eyes as blue as the sky was eating a bird. Certainly not anything lady like to do. Dried blood flaked from her tiny hands and she looked up at the trees, snacking on the bird carcass in her left hand. It was so quiet today...Boring!

"I want something fun to happen," she pouted to herself, munching in thought. As if answering her request, she heard a low humming sound, as if someone was singing. Hey, it must be a person. And they might be fun! Happy that she was freed from her boredom, the existence known as Celia dropped the half eaten bird and began skipping off in the direction of the sounds.

As Hector came to the throneroom door a snake grabbed him and coiled around him very tightly to tight for him to get anything to out to attack it win it dragged him down and hiused darkly only to get called off by the head General. A girl walked forward her glowing eyes stare at the male "and who have you perssion into this castle travler?" asked darkly and the snake slithered off to the girl and hissed darkly. the girl smiles petting the snake and it stopped hissing and said nothing, The queen and king said nothing they allowed their general to ask the questions. Luner glares at thye male with sharp snake like eyes and then smirks."Traveling must be hard " she snickered darkly as she looked at the snake that cackled and slithered off to te king and queen and coils up around them affectionately. Luner glares before turning away and yawning said "i am Luner the head gernal of the army and guards of the castle who are you and you must surely have a good reason to be here" she said her snake noded in agreement as well as the king and queen.

Gero kept humming to himself as he had robbed some people blind of their money and older belongings. he sat ona rock over looking at the lake humming to himself his eyes close but he could hear the girl and snarling he snapped his eyes opne and took out a glowing blade

Hector remained emotionless throughout the whole ordeal, either not caring or holding restraint. He ignored the girl general and her snake, instead turning to address the king and queen. "I've come to join your kingdom," he said bluntly. Quick and to the point. He could see the raised eyebrows all around him and figured he could at least explain himself. "I'm a sell sword. You tell me who to kill. I cut them." Again, more stunned responses. The king rubbed his chin in thought.

"Why have you come to us with such a request traveler?"

Hector gave him a half shrug. "Nothing better to do. Don't wanna die old. Might as well put myself to good use." He glanced at the girl and her snake, his eyes unreadable. "Of course, if you deny my request, then I'll take my services elsewhere. It doesn't matter one way or another to me." The king looked at his queen, pondering the situation. Eventually, both turned to their general, waiting for her input on the matter.

Celia tumbled out of the bushes clumsily, practically tripping over her own two feet. Dusting herself off, she smiled sheepishly. "Hiya!" she said cheerily. "Who ar-you have white hair!" Immediately, she rushed over to the boy and brought her face dangerously close to his. She was completely oblivious of the dagger in his hand. "Cool, you have white hair! And red eyes! That's so weird! Hey can I touch your hair and see if it has special powers? Can I? Please, please, please, please, pretty please!"

Luner thinks and then smirks "eh we can keep him around see wht he's worth" she smirks leaning back on the pillar and her snake slithered over to her happily and curled around her happily. She smirks petting the large snake humming to herslef slightly "but under one thing. You buddy are not allowed to do whatever the hell you feel like just because you wish to join the kingdom doesn't make you able to run around and hack theives off the streets. You will be under my care for five weeks to see what you are worth and after that I'll think about if we truly need your help" she said slowly a sharp tone to her voice she had seen many men com ein and say the same thing and she allwoed them in and then they went wild with their postions and eventually had to be struk down by her snake. she smiles gently and looked at him "now if you fallow me I will get you a room" she said slowly nodding to the king and queen walking down the hall slowly to find hima good room. She gave hima nice room it wasn't the best or biggest but it was liveable "feel free to explore the town but do not attack theives and crimals unless given an order to do so make myself clear?" asked darkly. She was not the one to joke around and be funny she took everything seruiosly.

Gero blinked confused backing up slighty "uh...who are you?" the dragon shifter asked uneasy around this girl blinking slightly. he fixed his red eyes at her face slightly blinking. she didn't look that olf but he knew she was her arua around her gave him that feeling "uh...sure you can touch it just don't pull please"

Hector once more remained silent as the girl general led him to his new living quarters. At her worded threat though, he couldn't help but give her an icy stare. "Don't think I'm some barbarian," he said coldly, almost bordering on the edge of a snarl. The mere thought of going outside and exploring almost made him retch. He'd rather stay in the castle walls, going about his own training. "And don't think of me as some mindless beast either. My blade is not meant for fool's blood." Walking into his room, he took in his surroundings; a single bed, some chairs here and there, a work desk, and finally a small fireplace.

He nodded in approval. "This will be sufficient." Walking in, he gave the girl one last look. "Since you seem to be my superior, I suppose you should know my name woman. It's Hector." With that, he closed the door behind him without a second thought. How rude.

"Really? Oh thank you, thank you, thank you!" Celia lifted off his hood, gave one look at his white hair....and promptly began to poke him on the side of his head. She giggled slightly. "Poke....poke...poke....hey, did you know that people with red eyes and white hair are supposed to be gods? It's true! I read it on a rock once....poke...poke....hey mister, my name's Celia by the way. What's yours? Is it something scary? Poke...poke...you seem like the kind of guy with a scary name...poke...poke..."

A loud rumbling interrupted the duo's....rather strange interaction. There was no concern however, as the rumbling's source was none other than Celia's stomach. "Hey mister, do you have any food? I'm hungry. Can you get me food?" She wiped her still bloodied hands on her dress, the dried substance flaking off.

She smirks at him rolling her eyes and walked off to the castle walls and climbed up on it and talks with the guards making sure to keep that evil dragon out of the city limits. She walked off to the city below to get her men out of the bar. She walked into the pub grabbed her man and dragged them off to the castle growling annoyed at them but they easily broke free from being drunk and whined and whimpered at the angry girl and snake that dragged them back. she gave them the late night shift and then nodded bolting off to their posts. She walked back into the castle grumbling she hated guys sometimes. she sat down in a chair talking with a high ranked Officer under her charge to see if the dragon had been spotted. The officer shook his head sadly "sorry to say but no" he said. she sighed deeply and nodded looking at her snake with worry, the snake hissed back and nudged her softly.

Gero blinked as he was getting poked on the head and sighed softly "ok enough poking little one" he said smiling as he stood up slowly looking at her as her stomach made an unearthly noise. He took out his bow and arrow and aimed for the woods and let it go and there was a thud and he went off and brought back a deer with him and cooks it. "I'm Gero a dragon shifter"

It was quite late at night before Hector decided to finally emerge from his room. The moon sat high in the blanket of darkness. Good. He preferred to train under its guiding light. Walking down the hallway with the intent of heading towards the castle's training ground, Hector stopped near a room. He could hear two people discussing something that peaked his interest. Something about a dragon. Looking inside, he saw the girl general from before along with another castle officer. And the snake. Hector narrowed his eyes at the thing. He wasn't too fond of snakes. Or dragons. Or reptiles in general for that matter.

Deciding to make his presence known, Hector casually stepped inside. "A dragon you say?" Again he ignored the girl and looked straight at the officer. "I can deal with your dragon problem," he said professionally.

"Gero? That's a weird name! You're a weirdo Mister Gero! I like you!" Celia watched in awe and interest as the dragon shifter began cooking the raw deer meat. When it was ready to serve, Celia took her share of the food. Her teeth became razor sharp, almost inhuman, and she bit down into the meat, chomping gratuitously.

She failed to notice if Gero was surprised at the action or not. She was too busy enjoying her meal. "This is tasty!" she told him, her mouth full with food.
