The Plot:
Charles Sterling, Co-Founder and CEO of Sterling Industries, leads a high-profile real estate development firm notorious for transforming underprivileged areas into luxury developments. These profitable projects come at the cost of community displacement, sparking widespread debate over the company's ethics.
Tragedy strikes when Jacob Martin, Charles’s friend and business partner, dies suddenly at 35 due to a heart attack, believed to be caused by excessive stress and overwork. Following a series of unsettling nightmares about Jacob, Charles’s nephew, Michael (our modern-day Fred), persuades him to seek therapy.
Fate intervenes when Charles encounters Belle (open for renaming and development) outside his therapist's office. Perhaps they grab a coffee? Belle's life has taken its own turns since their engagement ended seven years ago. Does she have a child now? Does she still hold any affection for Charles? Can Charles change—not just for her but for himself?
