She really wished that she hadn't really decided to venture out of the house. Considering how bad her luck and everything had been in the past year, was it really all that surprising? Personally, Mary didn't fully get what was even going on right now, considering that she did recognize a few of those who had caught her as members of the Thieves Guild, which was odd in and of itself. Since last she had checked, Remy was the King of the Thieves Guild. The others who had attacked her she didn't know who they were, but based on conversations, she thought that they likely weren't members. At least of the Thieves Guild anyway.
Having stolen one of Gambit's many trench coats (seriously the guy had an entire closet full of them) and had been wandering around the city, before she ended up down a side street and got attacked. It hadn't exactly gone too well for her, and the next thing she knew she was basically locked up somewhere. She was pretty sure they had injected her with a power inhibitor, but apparently they didn't get the memo that she didn't have any powers. They'd essentially been burned out by the Phoenix, either that or the device used to separate her and the Phoenix did something. So she currently was just sitting around since she ended up there a few hours before, unsure of what to do. Not even really having any sort of plans.
To think that a year ago, she would have probably tried more to create a plan to get out of whatever mess she was currently in, but no. That was definitely not the person she was anymore. She couldn't come up with any plans or ideas or anything. People were more likely to get hurt or caught in the crossfire who shouldn't be if she did that. No, definitely was a better idea to wait and see what was even the reason that she was there.
