Nobody is sure what LaConranne looks like, necessarily, which creates an odd sense of alienation between the school and the founder. After all, it was named after her as well.

Characteristics

Positive: LaConranne is highly intelligent and described by many as the greatest visionary of her time. She understands what she wants and knows how to get it.

Negative: LaConranne is by all accounts, cautious and paranoid. For what reason?

Intelligences: LaConranne is, as far as everybody can tell, extremely academically-inclined and intellectually gifted. She has a proclivity to notice behavioral, thought, and logical patterns that others fail to observe. She is vastly analytical.

Qualifications: LaConranne has a PhD in psychology and education, and has made many contributions to the science of psychology as a whole. Primarily, she is accredited with her Inheritance-Environmental Model, sometimes also referred to as the Behavioral Synthesis Theory or quite simply, LaConranne's theory. It is a framework that tries to dispel, or at the very least simplify, the argument of "nature vs. nurture" by psychoanalyzing and individual then holding them in regards to parental behavioral as well as childhood as a whole.

A second-phase student on her way to turning 15. She is very kind and non-competitive, as well as unusually complaisant. Elayna acts much like an older sister to many of the young or new students at the Academy, helping them in any way she can in her free time.

Elayna is a fair-skinned young lady with medium-length hair she typically keeps in a braid. Her face is freckled, and one of her ears is slightly bent compared to the other. She's usually smiling about something!

Positive: Very friendly to everybody around her. Elayna loves small children and making new friends, and always has a reason to smile.

Negative: Despite this, Elayna is very critical of herself, and feels a deep sense of alienation, as though she is not as smart as her Academy peers.

Intelligences: She is very athletically, academically, and artistically gifted. By the age of 12, Elayna published her first novel, and recently published a collection of poetry as well.

Qualifications: She has won various sports tournaments for swimming, tennis, soccer, and softball. Her various publishings are also a remarkable achievement. When enrolled in a public school before attending the Academy, Elayna often needed private tutors or accommodations because she was far beyond her peers in all of her classes. Her IQ has tested at somewhere around 129-135.

Jasmine is a light-brown-skinned female with coffee-brown hair. She has inviting blue eyes and a gentle stance. She is upbeat and social, whom fears failure. She is inquisitive and likes talking with others. She often daydreams. She isn't very athletic and wears round white glasses.

Jasmine comes from a low-income family in New York, and is determined to succeed to make money for her family. When the school's gifted program had tests to get into LaConranne's Academy, she tried her best. And.. she made it in. She's trying her best to succeed.

She has short, shoulder-length reddish-orange hair. He has various freckles and has piercing hazel eyes. His pupils have strange shaping. They mainly wear sweatshirts and baggy sweatpants.

Austin is a neurodivergent long-time student of the Academy. While a little tricky to understand and get along with, he has a good heart and a splendid mind. Austin has been at the Academy since he was 6, and many of the staff members are like family to him.

Austin has a neutral expression and a generally gaunt face. He is slim but tall with messy, yet shortly cut hair. He often looks sickly or as though he has not slept, even if this is not the case.

He is an individual with ASD and OCD.

Characteristics

Positive: Austin is mild-mannered and reserved, preferring to watch things happen. He thinks before he speaks and is very calculated.

Negative: However, the smallest discrepancies upset Austin. He is an individual with severe OCD, and while the Academy has accommodated this to the best of its ability, it still oftentimes impedes his studies. He means the best... until somebody does something that is "wrong" to him.

Intelligences: Austin is vastly gifted, intellectually speaking. He is able to process many things at once and is speculated to have a mild form of hyperthymesia (or photographic memory.) He is very strategic.

Qualifications: Before Austin was out of elementary school, he was working with college-level mathematical and English concepts. He learned German and Spanish in the span of a single year out of a want for a challenge alone. There was no question that Austin would take his place among the greats at LaConranne's. In fact, he very quickly moved to phase two by the time he was ten, and has been at phase three since he was fourteen. Now, he's polishing up his abilities before he graduates... an idea that seems to be upsetting him.

Praising me for things and putting me on a pedestal for things that were naturally easy for me anyway. They thought it was amazing that I began talking before walking, and that I could write my name before kindergarten. But it's not that deep. I just understood.
