Among the Alps exists a school, invisible to those, invisible those the curious eyes of uninveited guests. This school is like no other, for it's goal is to teach and study the movement of the mana, magic and spells.
Lore:
-Mana: The source of magic, all around us yet invisible unless a huge amount is concentrated in one place. normal people is not sensible to it, those who are are called different names; wizards, magicians, withces etc.
-Magic: Everything has magic in it, from rocks to humans. It's a propery that varies from objetc to object depending on how the mana isndie the object is structured. For example the mana inside the some plants gives them magic propietis like invisivility, for humans on the other hand the mana structure gives them the magical ability to cast for example, fireballs.
-Spells: Spells are the movement of mana when the caster gives the mana an "intention" or "meaning" by imbuing their will into the mana. The result of fusion between the caster's will and the mana is a spell.
Runes and the magic formulas: How to cast a spell you ask? The fastest and easier way to cast a spell is by combining a serie of runes in a certain order (a formula), this combination puts the mana in movement and imbues the caster's will in it. The complexity of the spell is demtermined by amount of runes drawn (in the air with the finger). The more powerfull the spell the more runes it needs. Experienced wizards can foresse what spell their oponent is about to cast by reading the runes they draw. (Think of this as the equivalent of hand signs in Naruto)
-Mana valve: Located in the heart, the mana valve determines how much mana can pass through the heart to be used in a spell. If the caster's mana valve is too small then only low level spells can be casted, casting spells that require more mana than the mana valve can pump is dangerous, even dead as the heart simply explodes from the mana overload.
So far I got this lore, but I am kind of lacking a plot
