The story takes place in the Kingdom of Malenia, more specifically in the Province known as Rodos, ten years ago an strange illness strarted to afect the people, after a high feber, alusinations and strong involuntary tremors that could take from only a few hours up to three days the victims turned into what is known as "the cursed": walking corpses that only seek to eat human flesh.
The situation got so dire that the Queen orderd to seal the Province away by building huge walls which is permanently guarded by soldiers. At first the problem seemed to be solved at the cost of an entire province but soon more cursed people started to appear throught the rest of the Kingdom. Rodos not only served as a cage for the cursed; banddits and killers were also thrown in there left to their luck.
On the other hand, many valuable goods were left by the survivors that escaped Rodos,many merchants and treasure hunters venture into this dangerous land looking for money or expensive items they can later sell, most of them never come back alive.
One day rumors about a cure created by a monk reached the Queen's court, she decided to send one of her scholars (My Character) to investigate with a group of soldiers, they were attacked by the cursed and only MC managed to escape. This will be the main plot but you guys can suggest more

List of possible enemies: feel free so suggest ideas
-The cursed: The normal walking dead, not very fast, not very strong but dangerous in groups.
-Ferals: Much faster than the cursed, equally strong but with this mutations gives the victim deadly claws
-Brutes: Moves slwer thn the others, but mutations give these guy strenght enough to crack open your skull with just one punch
-Bandits: of all sorts, ready to take your goods and kill you if necessary
