That sounds good for me; also I apologize for not responding earlier. Had to do a bunch of stuff. And it wouldn't be too hard to discover some kind of plot with an old university, although not necessarily political (Although we can go that way, because normally the big shots at university have loads of connections) but about the history of the university... I do have to ask, are we going to keep it as a genetics thing?

I would say keep it genetic would we assume such magic has existed since the beginning, so certain bloodlines have been distinguished or would we go out on a limb and assume magic has only come into its own within the past 50-100 years?

I'd say since the beginning, because the ways to carry out magic seem much more mysterious and complete that way. Besides, the developement of investigation and research of magic (which affects if somethin'g fit to teach in college) would be much richer if it was ancient.
