I dont know about other people but the first thing that keeps happening recently is a phantom page. Once we get 10 posts on a page every time I click the recent post notification it brings me, for example, to page 6 out of 5 with no posts on that page.

Second is every time I get on the forum on my tablet I get a notification addressing me by user name saying that I have a virus. I am pretty 100% sure this is a fisher and should be fixed.

I noticed once in a while a new browser window will pop up saying there's a browser update. Having worked enough in I.T. naturally I know better than that, so as a heads up for people, don't click on it. Always update your browser manually through the tools/help option. My guess would be it's Adobe Flash related.

I don't think so cuz we are still 10 posts away from a new page, and it happens almost every time with posts 10 and up.

That thread is riddled with hidden posts. So I would say that is the cause. It messes with the numbers of the posts. Just something to bear with until things are ironed out.

There's 5 hidden posts in that thread so it should only be caused for the post count groups of 15-25 (e.g. 35-45, 55-60) . Unfortunately while hiding posts removes them form your view the counter still includes them in the post count and thus tries to generate a new post based on the total count. That's why it gives you the phoney next page. Right now there's no real solution for it other than to unhide the posts which have some explicit language or you might just have to bear with it until Mahz can get around to it. Fortunately it's not in your IC like some other RPs have.

Some of the posts can be unhidden if it really bothers you - just be aware that they're troll posts (that you've seen already) but then again it's on a page of the OOC with no CSes nor important information. On the other side of the spectrum we could try hiding 20 posts so the error won't be caused at all but that'll remove a significant chunk.

Thanks for the explanation and the suggestions, but it really isn't that big of a deal for me. I can just roll with it for now, but if the players start to complain about it I will let them know the options and see what they say. Thanks again!
