With a slow stagger Charlie moved over to to Ris as she collapsed to the ground, he knew he probably had one more nuke in him.
He grasped her by her throat and weakly lift her up as he pulled his other fist back for another punch. Then hesitated.
For a few seconds they stood there motionless. It seemed like an eternity to him and probably her.
Maybe it was because he had just taken another step into the abyss of madness, or maybe it was one step out of it. But he let her loose.
From his pocked he conjured a small communications lacrima. "Let's fight again sometime." He coughed before falling backwards into the sand with a satisfied smile on his face.
Chaos all around him, Ciskel had trouble deciding what to do. Should he help Ris, Drake and Cecilia, Eli or should he figure out what happened to Life.
He never thought she'd actually kill her, the face-heel turn scared the crap out of him. Was this the same shy little girl asking for advice at his door?
"Go all out. Kill everyone!"
A voice spoke in his head. This threw him off even more, that wasn't his voice was it?
Ciskel lost control, he had no idea what was going on and he hated it. It frightened him.
"Kill everyone!" The voice whispered again.
"Get out of my head!" Ciskel shouted as he let his power run rampant, turning everything nearby completely and absolutely weightless.
For a moment the world went dark. He felt a small projectile bounce of his face like a small piece of paper, acompanied by a loud bang. And followed by a large object lightly touching him. As he opened his eyes he saw the golem drifting upwards, as well as Life, Jared, Klaus, several chunks of earth and even the dragon.
They were gaining altitude with rapidly increasing speed. Lighter than air
He fucked up and he knew it, he'd swore to himself he'd never do this.
With all his concentration he returned everyone else to half their weight until they touched the ground, after that he returned them to normal. He set himself still in the air at an altitude no one could reach him and then passed out.
Algon stepped forward from the rubble, he'd taken Jenifer's portal and was ready to walk in and sweep up.
"So you are surprised they all haven't torn yourselves apart? We'll I think I can explain that." Algon said to Life with a condescending slime. He paused.
Behind him marched the lifeless body of Anthos. Her arms hung limp beside her body and here eyes were scorched out, but she moved. Silently she stood behind Algon.
"Everything that happened here went according to my plan... well almost everything" He casually pointed towards Anthos.
"Let's wrap this up. Jared! Count our losses and drag the survivors trough the door, I left it open for you."
Jared knew that opening the door and moving in personally meant that Algon just got serious, this was bad.
"Klaus! You are done here, I'll take it from here." Algon continued, he stared down Shu and whispered in a voice made of ice:
"Dragonslayer Magic: Suggestion: You should go and protect your key-bearer."
"As for you... 'Life'... I'm short one twin now. I am both very pissed and very proud. So you are coming along with me."
His voice, weaved with magic, made it clear he wasn't making a suggestion. His words were as written in stone.
