Not sure if the mirror will have any significance, but it can if you want. :3 It's a magical item, though. It does several things, none of which involve telling the future or telling you you're the fairest of them all.

And while it may seem that Ginger is sorta hitting on Irina, I think she's just kinda pointing out how the Princess feels about the night, but in a more subtle manner. That's kinda the way I interpreted it.
