[IC] Godzilla: Kaiju Children

Finn woke with a start and was panting heavily and sweating. The place where he slept was dark and he wanted to get out of the pod quickly. he had been in the mind of Baragon and had seen his escape from the facility where the monster had been kept. he was almost frantic as he tried to get out of the pod and scratched at the material of the sleeping pod. he opened his mouth to call for help and to his utter shock, a beam of heat came out of his mouth and burned away the lid of the pod. He was in complete shock at what he had just done, and after that he tried pulling himself out of the pod. when he did that he noticed a change in his hands. instead of being like human hands, they were red and scaly and had long sharp claws. How could this have happened? did it have something to do with the blood transfusion? Finn didn't have time to think, just then the door to his room opened and a nurse by the name of Sally entered with a few other workers at the facility.

"What has happened here Finn? did you cause this?" she asked him looking at the burned up pod.

at first Finn did not say anything but he found his words after about a moment of silence, "Y..yes i did do that, i shot a beam of incredible hot energy and destroyed the pod."

the other doctors with her, looking at him and the pod with shocked expressions on their faces. they also took notice of his strange arms. Sally came over to do a quick examination of the mutated parts of his body. first she looked at his arms, and then she noticed that his shirt was wearing weirdly. she lifted up the back of his shirt a bit and almost let from surprise. instead of having smooth skin on his back, there were reddish plates of bone sticking out of his back.

"You're mutating Finn, your body biology has change" she told him, and this made Finn feel even more uneasy.

"what the hell is happening to me?! how did this happen?!" he asked in a panicked voice .

"It's alright, we will try to figure this out, everything will be fine. i need a blood sample to find out the cause of the mutation and to know whether or not this is an evolved form of the X-virus" she reassured him. Finn was still scared and felt like he wanted to flee, but he tried to keep calm.

"okay" he answered, and Sally took out a syringe to use and get a sample of Finn's blood. after she was done with that, she looked at him.

"I am sure everything will be explained when we run a few tests with your blood" she said to him. just then a loud explosion came from another room, and caused the room he was in to shake. the other people in the room gave shocked cries and were finding things to hold onto.

"what the hell was that?!" one of them asked.

"I don't know, but we must find out, Finn stay here, i will be back soon" she told him, and Finn nodded. she and the others left the room and headed for the place where the blast had happened. even though he was told to stay in his room, he chose to ignore it and followed after the doctors and nurse. the went straight for the room where they had left the patient named Alex, Finn had not gotten a chance to talk with the man and had only seen him a few times. they quickly got to the room and went in to see the pod in the chamber was blown apart by what looked like a blast of energy. Finn saw standing in the room with a nurse close by, and a closer look allowed him to see that the 21 year old had an eye that was different in color to any normal human eye.

"what has happened here?" Sally asked the nurse, and Finn was standing behind, hoping that they wouldn't notice him.

just then, Finn heard a deep earthy voice in his mind, "Who are you? I can hear your panicked thoughts."

Finn was surprised by the voice that was talking in his head, he almost didn't respond but he managed to say, "M..my name is Finn sir, what's yours?"

"I am Baragon" the voice answered, and Finn almost panicked. what the hell was happening to him.

[Krein]

Megaguirus screeched as she saw Gigan, a powerful alien cyborg, begin flying towards the facility Christopher was located on. If her new... "child" didn't get out of there soon, he'd probably die from the destruction that monster caused. More messages, these instructing him to flee.

Christopher's red eye glowed when he received more messages from the giant Queen. They were erratic, telling him of an approaching danger to the place he was staying in. He focused himself, allowing his mind to wander into the Queen's to see through her eyes. He didn't like what he saw. The cyborg Gigan was fast approaching the medical space station, chainsaw revving and metallic hook-hands at the ready. That was enough to get him to start moving.

"Wait..."

Christopher looked back at Rhys, who was still in the meditative state he seemed to have slipped in earlier.

"Hey... YOU! I hate to ruin your little zen mode, but if we don't try to get out of here soon, we'll be ending up as dead as my good friend Truman over there!" He shouted, pointing his tail at the dead nurse. Not another word, he rushed out.

The station was going into lockdown.

"ANOMALIES DETECTED WITHIN STATION. X-VIRUS MUTATION POSSIBLE. DETAIN ALL."

Great, just great. Christopher watched as a metal door slid down in front of him, blocking the rest of the hallway. He hissed, an unearthly sound coming from his throat as he raised his powerful town and began attacking it. Damage was being done, but it would take a while for him to create a sizeable hole to allow a squeeze through.

Christopher was trapped. Megaguirus could feel it. Though he was trying to solve the issue by destroying the door with his tail, she knew it wouldn't be quick enough. The Queen brought her own tail to her face, then looked back to the station. More messages.

He stopped attacking the metal doors as Megaguirus sent him some new messages. Tips really.

"Ha! This is starting to sound like the tutorial for some game! So... press R2 for special attack?!"

Christopher raised his tail once more and then stabbed it into a certain spot on the wall. He could feel electricity rushing through it, bjt it didn't hurt him. The electric power began to siphon itself up into Christopher's tail, giving him a strange tingly feeling, but a definite increase in power. More importantly, he drained the power allowing the metal doors to function. They opened up.

What did "press R2 for special attack" mean? This was one strange youngling she had gotten under her care. Regardless, Christopher had freed himself, and was only repeating the same process to the other doors that blocked his way. A new problem faced Christopher though... many doors. The station had taken extra measure to stop him from advancing, so now he was literally trapped in a small space between two metal doors. Not really unsolvable with draining the power from each individual door, but she knew of a better way, and would that would actually disable several other doors than just those two.
If her wings could produce sonic waves capable of bringing down buildings and disabling powered equipment, then maybe so could his.

*SCREEE*

Christopher was just going to repeat the same process when yet another message from Megaguirus arrived. His wings were capable of producing sonic waves as well, huh? Cool. He spread them out and commanded them. They began to flap quickly, so fast that they appeared to stay in the same place. A wave flew from them, and-

"Voila, problem solved."

Both doorways were opened now, and doors up ahead were malfunctioning as well. Christopher sprinted through, but stopped when he saw something strange. Crystals in a room, and nurses surrounding them. They were shouting at someone apparently trapped within the crystals, but otherwise had no way of getting him out. He felt he should keep running, simply follow the Queen's orders, but no. Christopher headed for the room, breaking the door away with his tail.

"Anyone need a... helping tail? Damn that was bad..."

He had disobeyed. Megaguirus knew this one was extremely different from the rest of her hive, the human would not simply follow commands without question. She peered into his mind again, noticing a similar emotion in him that she felt towards him. A desire to help. Roars suddenly caught her attention, and she looked down to find two new monsters stomping around Mars. Godzilla was roaring and thrashing in response. Enemies of his perhaps? The King of the Monsters sure had many, her mother included.

*SCREEEE!!!*

Megaguirus was filled with anger. If anyone was going to kill Godzilla, it would be her, not these Kaiju that had suddenly shown up. She raised her wings and flew down, first attacking Orga with a slice of her bladed wings...

[Dmessenger]

SpaceGodzilla said "deal with the pest, I'll deal with my brother."

Orga's arm got slashed by her wing and then the wound healed. Orga said "yes master" Orga then fired upon megaguirus.

Godzilla fired his atomic breath at SpaceGodzilla fired back with his red lightning. the two beams collided and exploded.

Alex suddenly didn't feel pain any more and the crystals were now floating in the air around him. Alex then said "we have to get going" he then walked into the hallway with the crystals following him and Kim followed him as well. Alex began to look around for the others.

Gigan was flying toward the station when a beam misses him. Gigan looks to see Kyriu coming towards him. "pesky humans." Gigan then stopped and turned to face Kyriu.

[Krein]

Megaguirus was quick, easily able to dodge the beam the alien Kaiju had fired at her. She was suddenly behind him, and struck him hard two times with her powerful pincers before flying away.
She needed to know how the human was doing. It seemed that he had reconsidered helping the individual trapped in crystal. Priorities had changed in his mind, and he had simply continued to run down the hallways. Megaguirus came back to herself. She needed to focus on dealing with these other Kaiju first.

Christopher thought as he hurried along. Where was he supposed to go after this? What about the other patients here? A new presence struck him, one familiar yet not. His senses kicked in to try and determine the source. A human with Godzilla's DNA...

Memories of battle against the monster surfaced in his mind, filling Christopher with anger. Godzilla was an enemy, was he not? And by extension.... those who shared his DNA...

Christopher stopped and turned. The strange individual was drawing closer on his location...

[Polyphemus]

Rhys, for lack of any other real plan, followed closely behind Christopher as he ran through the corridors, stopping at various doorways. He was vaguely aware of the crisis unfolding on Mars and the intrusion by the alien kaiju. Really, he and Gorosaurus were having too much fun tearing apart the containment facility. His new game was to scan the area with the sauropod's weak eyes for any individual humans trying to make a break for it, and then bring a gigantic foot down on top of them. Rhys was beginning to understand the rush assholes like Bevan Mills got from pushing people around.

His beatific expression continued unabated even as klaxons rang through the hospital. Rhys felt like he had earned some payback.

Soon, he and Gorosaurus both bored of crushing individuals humans and ambled off, away from the fighting, towards the other enclosures. Rhys reasoned that even if the infected controlled a few monsters, there was still plenty more left unspoken for. Releasing them might make for a few laughs- not to mention some payback. Rhys tried to remember which monsters were up there. Ookondoru. Titanosaurus. Manda.

Then again, did it matter? Rhys was enjoying the chaos he was causing. Why bring reason into it?

With that in mind, Gorosaurus laid into the wall of the nearest enclosure. . .

[Yog Sothoth]

Baragon dug through the earth under the holding facilities, and he knew where he wanted to go, he was going to find Godzilla, his old ally. a moment ago he found to his surprise that he could communicate with human, which he thought was impossible but sure enough it was. he told the man his name and he was escaping to go find Godzilla who had also escaped. he then told the human to find the other humans with the DNA of his allies if there were any else. soon Baragon emerged from the ground right next to Godzilla, and looked to see that he wasn't alone, Orga, SpaceGodzilla and Megaguirus, all of whom had been enemies of the king of monsters. it appeared that Megaguirus waas fighting Orga, which meant that he could assist Godzilla in fighting SpaceGodzilla.

"Godzilla I am here to fight with you and aid in driving back these foes" Baragon said to Godzilla. he then fired a powerful beam of heat out of his mouth, straight towards SpaceGodzilla.

Finn had heard and seen everything that Baragon had done, and it all was confusing to him. he saw Alex leave with the nurse Kim, both completely ignoring Sally and the other doctors. when they turned to follow them, Sally saw him and said, "I told you to stay in your room Finn until we were done examining your blood."

Finn didn't say anything, he just quickly turned around a went after Alex and Kim. Sally and the other doctors followed after them.

"The both of you, need to go back to your rooms and wait until we have fully diagnosed the change in your bodies" Sally said sternly.

Rodan spotted that Godzilla was facing off against Spacegodzilla, and figured he could help out Godzilla once more by going after Gigan. "I'll head after Gigan and try my best to stop him!" He roared into the air and manage to fly out one of the holes that's been created on the wall by the other Kaiju. If anything, he had to stop Gigan because it's possible he could hurt his new kin.

"Human..are you there?"

"Y-Yes Rodan and I'm Taylor, sorry for not saying my name earlier...I was frightened of everything that was happening. I've been hearing explosions here and there, and I don't know what's going on", she said.

"Stay calm Taylor, as my new kin I will be of assistance. Right now, I need you to escape because you and everyone there are in grave danger." He sent the girl an image of Spacegodzilla telling Gigan to head to where she and the others are.

"But what about them? Is there something I can do to help them? I can help them escape right Rodan?" Taylor climbed out of her bed, beginning to leave her room and hopefully find her clothes. "Taylor where are you going?" "I have to leave..Rodan said so but where can I find my clothes Janice?" Taylor was handed the key to her locker and started running after being told where her clothes are located.

"What is your name human? If you bear my blood at least I should know."

"J-Jyoti...I'm Jyoti and what did I just do to my nurse?"

"The spray that came from your mouth destroyed the human, as anything with oxygen in them can be destroyed, obliterated", he explained.

[Dmessenger]

Alex turned around and raised his hand which made a wall of crystal come out of the ground blocking Sally and the other doctors from continuing. Alex then said "If you wish to live I suggest you leave this facility before Gigan arrives." Alex then turned to Kim and said "you leave too" Kim nodded her head and said "be safe" Alex smiled and said "yes ma'm" Kim then walked over to the wall of crystal which opened up for her to walk through with the other doctors "we need to leave now" Kim said.

Godzilla said "thank you my old friend, hopefully there are some others who will join us."

SpaceGodzilla made a crystal come out of the ground in front of the heat beam and absorbed it. Then SpaceGodzilla fired his beam but it missed Godzilla and Baragon entirely.
"Loosing your ability to aim there brother." Godzilla said

SpaceGodzilla said "wasn't aiming for you brother"

suddenly the ground shook as Biollatte came out of the ground next to SpaceGodzilla. "deal with the small one" SpaceGodzilla arrogantly said
Biolatte then sent vines flying a Baragon.

in space near the space station Gigan and Kyriu were flying around in space shooting at each other.

[Krein]

Megaguirus circled above the other Kaiju. More of them had appeared, so she began to take a head count. Baragon, Godzilla, SpaceGodzilla, Orga, Gorosaurus, Biollante, and King Caesar (who at the moment seemed to still be walking around to shake off his sleepiness). Rodan had appeared briefly, but flew off to fight Gigan. That ancient monster better have had a plan in mind, because Gigan was one of the most dangerous aliens there was out there after King Ghidorah.

*SCREEEE!!!*

The Queen dove after Orga once more, slashing at him with her pincers before stabbing him with her stinger. She then flew off, and circled to give SpaceGodzilla a charge surprise attack from behind. They might all be mutants, but "mutant" monsters had a special rivalry with each other. A rivalry for supremacy, only briefly teaming up every now and then to deal with larger threats.

"Keep walking," Christopher had told himself. There was no sense in fighting against the one bearing Godzilla's DNA and causing a mess. It was a waste of time, and that wasn't an option when Gigan was coming this way. So he kept charging forward, until he saw someone in the distance. A girl.
Senses kicked in. Rodan's "partner". Another one was near, and this one sent battle chills down Christopher's spine. Destroyah's "partner". No matter, they could all sort out friendliness later, right now all that mattered was getting out of here...

[BlazingxLynx]

A beam of uranium heat was heading towards its target, which was Gigan. "KRAAAWWW!" The pteranodon Kaiju flew into sight as he finally manage to catch up to Gigan, who was see fighting Kyriu. "I can use this to my advantage, and give Taylor a change to escape."

Taylor stopped when she happened to see someone surrounded by crystals...blocking the way she needed to go to retrieve her clothing. She took a deep breath to keep herself from freaking out, thinking that what happened to her must've happened to the others that had the virus as well. "E-Excuse me..I need to find my clothes." Someone else came into her view..another one that was infected with the X-Virus, and apparently was injected with a Kaiju's blood as well. "Claws...wings and a tail." For some reason, Taylor was getting a bad vibe from him.

Jyoti decided to finally leave her room, since she really didn't want to stay in her room and needed to get away from this place now. She was starting to have certain violent urges to destroy everything around her. But first she needed to get the hell out of here, but how could she escape? Her thoughts broke when a chill went down her spine..someone else with a Kaiju's DNA was near by. She happened to see someone with a tail, wings and claws.

"He must be with Megaguirus", Destoroyah said to Jyoti, looking through her eyes.

"Megaguirus?"

[Krein]

Christopher turned as he felt the human with Destroyah's DNA grow closer to him. He raised his tail, ready to strike in case this person felt like continuing the rivalry mutants had towards each other. Turning, he got a good look at who it was. It was a girl, probably around his age, seventeen or maybe eighteen. Unlike him, she didn't look so affected by the foreign DNA, and on top of that, didn't really seem like someone Destroyah could have a fun time destroying crap with. If anything, she was kind of cute and serene looking ....

Megaguirus screeched as she saw through Christopher's eyes. The girl with Destroyah's DNA had reached him, there was no telling what she might do in response to Christopher. Insect whirring came from her mouth as she sent out another message for her new hive member.

The message he had just received from Megaguirus was basically "Kill or Flee". Fleeing from anything wasn't really part of Christopher's nature, and kill... yes... kill.... he'd like that. To dig the stingers of his tail deep into her flesh, ripping through muscles and piercing through organs. It would assert his authority as a superior being, and give him the same rush he got when killing that sonofabitch nurse. Wait... no!

"Watch yourself there, Empress," he told Megaguirus. "Just because we share minds and blood now doesn't mean I'm going to do everything you say..."

Christopher wasn't going to hurt this girl unless he needed to. He needed to keep this in mind. Hurt no one unless necessary....

"Uh... hi. You too huh? With the whole Kaiju blood and stuff..."

[BlazingxLynx]

"U-Uh...y-yes and it's affecting me deeply and I'm not sure I like the change I'm going through", she said, rubbing her arm. She was trying to hold back the violet urge she was getting towards Chris. He had Megaguirus' blood inside of him..another mutant just like Destoroyah and another rival. How good would it feel to just obliterate him right on the spot, with her Micro Oxygen Spray or with her new Katana Horn. 'I can't think like that..that's not me.'

"It is you now Jyoti! You are now apart of me and trust me you will enjoy cause destruction and chaos. But for now you must work with him..the one with Megaguirus' blood. The others as well until when you all escape will you begin to assert your dominance!"

[Krein]

Megaguirus pushed her influence harder. Her broodling needed to destroy this girl now to eliminate the threat to his life! But again, she was met with resistance. Christopher refused to follow her orders yet again. Such a troublesome broodling...

"Trust me Empress, we humans can actually do well without following orders blindly," Christopher said mentally. He felt a bit sorry for Megaguirus. Sure it was troublesome how persistent she was in ordering him to kill, but there was a bit of... maternal guidance behind the commands. She simply didn't want him to die, which was hard to believe considering Megaguirus and the meganulon had killed tons of people back on earth.

Turning his attention back to Jyoti, Christopher simply nodded and smiled.

"I understand.... come on, we'll deal with our changes later, we have to leave this place before Gigan comes over here and starts chainsawing the place up!"

[BlazingxLynx]

"R-Right and please forgive me if I have any sudden outbursts, since they are sadly apart of the change", Jyoti said. "I don't know most of these monsters, but can you tell me who Megaguris is? Destoroyah wants me to...well you know, but I don't want to because I don't believe in solving things with violence."

"You will sooner or later once we finally meet Jyoti."

Destoroyah started walking towards the wall, taking this time to escape while the other Kaiju are busy destroying each other. "I'll kill some humans on the way", he laughed. He spread his wings and with a roar, took to the skies to head towards the station. He can grab Jyoti, educate the girl and kill the others inside that could stand in his way.

[Krein]

Christopher led her down the hallways towards what would eventually be the section where the escape pods were located. He made sure not to leave her behind, and so walked at a slower pace to be even with hers. Didn't believe in solving things with violence huh? Christopher actually thought the contrary. Violence could be used to solve things, hut when necessary.

"I don't think that mindset will help us much anymore," he told her. "We're part Kaiju, as are others. There's no telling how affected the minds of others have become... or how much we can resist our new instincts before we give in..."

Christopher looked at his arms. A tough, black, spiny exoskeleton had grown over them. He probably looked so out of place next to this girl, who at least for now, didn't seem so physically different from a human. Christopher had a tail, wings, and spines coming from his back, and one red insect eye to top it off. Now... why the hell was even thinking about this stuff? Was he really considering "that"? He just met this girl, and a girl who now had the instinct to kill him... and a "dad" who encouraged such actions judging from what she said. Better not to dwell on these things, lest "mother" start bugging him about stabbing her through with his tail again.

"Megaguirus is basically a giant mutant space bug. Builds huge hives of meganulon, little baby versions of her.They go off to steal energy and Kaiju power to feed her, and to make ppreparations for the next Queen. Real nice stuff. You're with Destroyah huh? Empress thinks of him as a mere lobster."

Baragon wasn't expecting the sudden appearance of Biolatte, and when SpaceGodzilla ordered her to attack him, he barely had time to dodge her powerful vines. luckily for Baragon, he was one of the most agile Kaiju around and had an incredible jump. he leaped over the oncoming vines and flew straight towards the plant monster, intending to smash into her with his razor sharp front claws.

Finn was surprised by what he just saw, Alex had made crystals form in front of the doctors and Sally, making it so they couldn't follow. he then Kim back to other side where the doctors were, and Finn stood beside Alex and asked, "where do we go now?"

[BlazingxLynx]

Jyoti giggled a little at the space bug's comment, in which she heard Destoroyah making his own comment about her being nothing but an annoying mosquito he can easily crush like the bug she is. "Destoroyah made his own comment about her but I'd rather not say..it's against everything my life's been about. But I don't know if I should even worry about that anymore...as you could be right, sooner or later we'll give into our new found urges. I don't want to, but it's getting harder and harder keeping myself together. I'm trying but it's damn near hard!"

Jyoti covered her mouth and looked the ground in shame, "see what I mean? Destoroyah's coming, saying that he wants to educate me."

[Krein]

Christopher felt a bit of sympathy for Jyoti, which was quite funny to him considering he had just killed a man about an hour ago. She seemed... frightened at what else was to come with their mutations, and at the fact that Destroyah was basically pushing her 24/7 now to give into her urges of destruction and violence.

"I uh..."

Christopher tried to find the right words.

"Don't worry. Megaguirus is a queen of insects that follow her every command. Since I share her blood now, I'm part of the same hive mind that connects her to them, and vice versa. Still, she can't control me like a mere drone, so I'm sure you can find it within yourself to resist Destroyah's influence."

Christopher wondered if he could convince Megaguirus to come to their aid if Destroyah came calling. He probably could, she had the natural instinct to protect her broodlings, and so would come to protect him from the Kaiju.

Megaguirus could tell he and the other girl were almost out. This satisfied her. This human had done well in getting this far and in using his new abilities, and even though he did not follow her commands like her meganulon....
He could survive with or without them.

*SCREEE*

Megaguirus screeched at Destroyah. He was nothing but an inferior insect whose predecessor wasn't even offed by another Kaiju. Instead, the first Destroyah was killed by mere humans. It was... as the humans would say it, "laughable". Pathetic.

"Queen says Destroyah Sr. couldn't even last against human weapons, and therefore Junior there would be no match against her."

[BlazingxLynx]

"Apparently Destoroyah thinks of him as weak and pathetic and that he could do much more than his predecessor..and t-that he could..no I am not saying that!" Jyoti rubbed her forehead, now that it was weird the horn wasn't there and now she wonders how is it that it disappeared? 'Hmm maybe it only comes when I need it.' "Destoroyah has a horn on his head right? So far I can use that spray he uses too, and I'm sure there was a horn on my head."

Destoroyah wasn't going to be insulted by some bug that he can destroy with either his Katana Horn or his Micro Oxygen Spray. He decided to fly back towards where the other Kaiju were, heading towards Megaguris mostly where she was fighting against Orga. Once he was there, he let out one of his Oxygen Absorber Mines towards the giant insect queen.

[Polyphemus]

Rhys impatiently tapped his foot as Christopher talked with the girl. Being social was all well and good, but being crushed by Gigan was not likely to improve their situation. He started looking around the hallway, lit on a directory for the labyrinthine complex and began to study it.

Meanwhile, Rhys being a champion multitakser, Gorosaurus continued to batter the wall of one of the massive enclosures, finally smashing through. A grunting hiss greeted him as a long, serpentine body began to flow out of the gap. Manda, the enormous dragon, was now free. Rhys nodded to himself in satisfaction, as Gorosaurus moved on to the next enclosure.

Rhys nodded to himself, stepped over to Christopher and tapped him on the shoulder. Once he was sure he had the increasingly bizarre-looking fellow's attention, he tapped a point on the map. Emergency Lifeboats. Seemed apropos.

Diffidently, Rhys began strolling down the hallway towards the escape pod, waving for the others to join him.
