(Great!)
Christopher was bored now, which was rather unfortunate because he hated being bored, especially in this room where there was literally nothing to do but fall asleep and wait for the next visit from the nurse. Unfortunately though, he couldn't fall asleep to wait it out. Since the newest transfusion, Christopher actually felt a bit more active and alert than he had in previous days, and it only seemed to increase ever so slightly as time ticked along.
"Huh... maybe the drug actually has had some improvements. Now, if they can restore, at the very least, both my arms, that'd be fucking wonderful!"
The teen began rambling on to no one in particular, as he usually did whenever he was bored and wanted to think about some things.
"I'd look pretty cool with an eye patch anyway!"
Speaking of his eye... there did seem to be a weird... glow in it now. Was his vision being restored? Or was this just a way for his mind to try and cope with having nothing but darkness in one of his eyes?
"An officer with an eyepatch would definitely intimidate a few scumbags, now wouldn't it?"
Ah, how Christopher enjoyed thinking about the possibilities of becoming a police officer. He would do great, work his way to the top ranks, be the one in charge.
"But no... instead I'm stuck here. Stuck here to be tested on like a damned lab rat! And to talk to myself... well shit, looks like I get to add insanity to the list of what's wrong with me..."
Now what else was there to think about? Hm... the Kaiju? Those monsters had always been object of fascination and terror to everyone in the world, especially the one they called the "King of the Monsters". Godzilla, or Gojira as the Japanese called him. That particular monster was responsible for much destruction, but also for saving the world a few times from other Kaiju or alien threats. The three headed dragon Ghidrah, the cyborg Gigan, Orga... yeah, lots.
There were other Kaiju that pitched in to protect the world every now and then too, like that weird one called King Caesar, and that overgrown armadillo, Anguirus....
"As much destruction as they caused they were all still good for something... who's gonna protect the earth now that all of them have been tossed onto Mars? The military sure as hell can't do jack against other monsters and alien forces, which sometimes even come with monsters of their own..."
Christopher looked at his faint reflection on the glass. His curly black locks of hair could use a trim right now... then he looked to the clock. At least an hour had passed since he started thinking aloud. Wow... nice way to pass the time...
