The sun shone down on yet another day in Gensokyo. Surprisingly, Gensokyo was actually subject to truly bad weather for once, rather than unnatural mist and bizarre oddities like geyser mist. Bad enough, in fact, that even the stronger youkai were staying inside rather than contest the winds (well, Aya and Sakuya could possibly be exceptions due to their abilities to more or less ignore external factors on movement) for the few days until the worst of it had passed.
And thus, when the weather reached Marisa's namesake, those wandering Gensokyo would be left wondering what the odd objects strewn here and there about the landscape were. A glassy screen that responded when you pressed a button (though some demanded unlisted passwords), large squares with hinges and dozens of brittle squares with letters imprinted upon them... and those were only the rarest items. Somehow, the outside world had dumped its produce into Gensokyo during the storm.
