Well you know how this recession is affecting everyday-people. Back in the ol'days, bandits would raid entire nations and create vast empires, while today they can only take one town at a time.

BTW I imagine we are not going to be aloud to loot all these guys and keep all the guns ?
I would imagine the town will take most of it so I would imagine we will be able to get stuff but we wont all have an AK after this XD

Ah sure, I'll see how generous I'm feeling. Might let you all loot some parts. :P The town is going to need to restock of course after the loss of the militia. Plus, who says most of the bandits won't retreat? As for weapons, nothing wrong with a good hunting rifle, AK's can wait. :P

As an added note; Not all bandits will have access to AK's, very few of them anyway. Otherwise, realistically, we'd all be fucked.

True could be a Chinese knock off, mangled home made ammo

Just encase anyone would like to know (I doubt you care) but the reason the AK is so reliable is because of how crappily made it was.
At the time the US had special machines which precession cut the metals to make the parts whilst the Russians had pretty crappy man powered machines and general welding.

What this caused was that the AK would RATTLE whilst it was fired. Which most of the time you don't want. Despite this because of the large gaps in the parts of the weapon this led to it becoming one of the most reliable firearms ever created.

Exactly, patented and produced in several countries, even the US army used it for a few years. Now don't come tell us that we don't make some fine guns :)
