Yes,we shall.

Now, we start in a cold winter, just after a draught that made sure that Hansel and Gretel's parents didn't have enough to feed their children. We should expend on what it was like before they were abandoned, with too few food rations and too cold a house.

Who was the older of the two siblings again? For now, I'm just sticking with Hansel as my character...

I can do that...! I'm thinking that the mirror of Snow White and Snow Queen are one and the same, and is what originally turned Gretal bad in the witches house. A round mirror of silver...probably used by the witch as a serving plate for when she cooked up humans. It's probably smeared with grease when the siblings find it, after killing the witch...
