Which is complete bullshit for anyone outside of the Slytherin house I might add. No one has reasonable grounds to suspect her of anything, other than her fellow Slytherins. She's been perfectly nice to everyone - and the other Slytherins, they're not going to say anything about it. The select few who might, Verlin and Isaak, they'd be in the minority and aren't going to get very far with accusing her of anything.

And I say she couldn't have logically heard anything over what, a hundred people talking very loudly, and Acacia wasn't that loud. She only talked to not even half of the students, just a little group. Sure they shot her dirty looks, but that would be normal considering her reputation. If confronted, Acacia even has a perfectly solid reason for why they did that after she sat down.

They saw her with Willow, and decided to poke fun at her and them both, then Acacia defended Willow. Samantha, could not have logically heard anything.

I said earlier there was a lot of talk of "bringing down Acacia" despite the fact that we hadn't seen her do anything than be a manipulative teenage girl. So much so, that it's basically become the main focus of... everything. We're really robbing ourselves of some interesting stuff by focusing on something like that What's more interesting, deciding we don't like her right away? Or how about actually playing through it. You know be fooled. It's more fun to slowly discover something, especially if you have to keep doubting it.

That said, I think Acacia's charade would be more believable if she kept it up even around her own house. I mean can you really depend on Slytherins like that? By opening up to the you depend on their stereotype of being pretty much evil. But if they follow that stereotype, they REALLY can't be depended on as they'd likely sell out Acacia to save their own skins.

Honestly though, since people have already posted in response to her post, then I feel as it would be too much of a hassle to go back and edit at this point. Meh. All valid points, but you didn't take into account that she has most of the Slytherin house under her thumb. Most, are either following her out of fear of what she'll do if they don't, or simply because they think she's strong and knows what she's doing. Besides, if she was all nice and goody goody around Slytherins, they wouldn't really have any respect for her.

And its not a Sterotype really, that's why people get sorted into Slytherin in the first place. Well not for being evil, just for being shrewd, ambitious, and cunning.
