[IC] Dragon Rider Academy

Kalin and shade sat in the main office room of the academy. The doors would soon be opening for the next round of students to come and join the school. Those that had been here before would have to come and check in with them. The academy never closed but students could come and go as the wanted.

Kalin looked at shade who was asleep at the moment and shook his head. Shade growled lightly in his sleep but other than that made no noise

Alex and Julius both woke up in a cave that they have been calling home for sometime. Alex stretched and said "I think it's time to go hunting" Julius nodded in reply and then Alex jumped onto Julius's back and Julius flew out of the cave and up into the air. Alex looked at the view, they were in a large forest that was outside the city where the Academy was. Alex said "I never get tired of this view." Then Julius dove into the woods where the two began to hunt for their food.

Kyoto was soaring in the air around the academy, looking for a good place to land on in which she landed on the building itself. She yawned, making herself comfortable on the academy. New students were coming, which meant more students and dragons to teach..and she didn't mind at all. The humans here looked up to her, and so she gives them knowledge in return.

Silver walked through the gates of the school and sighed. He was home again after his few weeks away. He went in the main building and over to kalin. "Hey kaolin I'm back and checking in" kaolin looked at him and smiled " glad you made it back alive." He joked as he checked his name off the list. Silver laughed and then left the building heading for his dorm room.

Zeo woke up after having slept through his first night at the academy inside his dorm. He decided to go find Kaloo and take a trip, around the Academy to see the view. He saw a boy down the hallway as he passed and noted to remember him as possibly a future friend. He then saw Kaloo waiting for him just outside the Academy's front doors.

He rushed out to him, "Your as excited to fly as I am, aren't'cha?" The dragon nodded with a bit of a smile touching its reptilian face. A few moments later and they were soaring through the air above the academy enjoying the nice surroundings. There was green's and blue's and brown's and orange's and all sorts of colors. A few moments later he noticed a dragon he had never seen before, without a rider. A wild Dragon?... He got Kaloo to land on the academy building not far from the dragon, he then dismounted. Calling out to it, "Don't worry dragon, I am only here to help you." he said as he approached it slowly.

Ryuu landed next to the school and Willow hopped off his back. The young dragon shook himself then looked at his rider. "We have to go check in now, don't we?" He asked and Willow nodded. "Yes, Lets go." She said and headed towards the front doors, her dragon following after her. She stepped inside and smiled at Kaolin. "Hey." She greeted as she walked over to him. "Any new students come in yet?" She asked curiously.

"No new students have come in yet today." Kaolin said as he looked Willow over. Shade woke up and looked the two over. He then put his head down and went back to sleep. " shade you've gotten lazy over the years" kalin said as he tapped the dragons nose. " your here to check in right. I need verbal names from both of you."

Caera finished gathering the herbs she needed and put them in her shoulder bag, looking to where Vesper was curled up in the middle of the nearby stream. "For a fire breather, you sure do like the water," She said with a smile. "Com'on, we should get back to the academy." Vesper blinked slowly and stood, shaking the excess water from her wings and hide before going and kneeling to let Caera on.

"And I am here to help students like you human', a voice said in Zeo's head. It sounded feminine and intelligent at the same time, which could mean that it came from the dragoness before him. 'I am not a wild dragon, nor am I a rider's dragon. I am a teacher here, asked by the humans in this very academy long ago to teach their new students how to use their dragons and to help them make their bonds stronger."

Alex and Julius have caught a deer and were now cooking the meat. "so after we eat what do you think we should do" Alex asked Julius. Julius just raised his head from the raw meat he was eating and said "don't know" then he went back to eating. Alex then finished cooking his meal and ate his meat as well.

Zeo heard a feminine voice inside his head. His eyes went wide and he looked around, seeing no one else besides the three of them, it had to be this dragon he was talking to. He tilted his head at it, "Did you just speak into my mind?" This was new to him, as he had never known a dragon could do that before, it seemed a little scary. He shivered a little as he wondered what else this dragon could do.

He also heard her explain about helping to teach human students. It seemed weird to him, because as far as he knew dragons and humans learned from each other, through companion ship. And this 'teaching' seemed one sided. Although he did want to learn more, he would wait patiently for her to answer his question before he asked any more questions.

"Yes I did", she snorted, a bit offended by the human before her. "You must think that dragons cannot talk with their mind. There are others like me out there that can communicate this like. Honestly, did you really think I was just a wild dragon that just happened to be here?" Kyoto shook her reptilian head.
