He could have been given an anonymous tip to find his quarry around the location they teleported into, with the tipper being a god or an instrument of a god in this situation who's working his or her own angle.

I'll look at the IC some more and decide if there's another group Norak can fit into.

In theory yes, but unless that god is Duv, it seems unlikely that a god will be actively working to kill another god's chosen avatar especially when they're all working towards the same purpose.

Well, a god could probably -see- into a mortal, and my character wouldn't try to kill yours. He was just going to arrive, have a look, and then decide to stick around and see if anyone formidable came over.

Its simple Orc logic, he can just fight and try to kill one opponent who may or may not be formidable and then have to start fresh again. Or, he can stick around for the number of formidable foes who will come after the bounty, until he's dead, which gives him more opportunity for the glorious death he seeks.

He may scuffle a little though, test the knight to see if he's worthy.

The gods are sending everyone to the Plains right you got that? Then why not let the orc be a main character instead of a secondary party member. Give the bloodthirster his time to shine!

Well, the gods would still -technically- be sending him to the plains, just in a less direct way.

Bit of general FIY

The next post for shankee is a bit convoluted as far the timing goes. He is essentially arriving first, but the idea is you would have been literally there or very close at the time he gets there. So once I post, could everyone basically post so as they are with Shankee. Once that happens I can post a really cool bit of exposition, which will no doubt lead to some awesome character interaction. Followed by an even cool piece of plot.

I'm honestly not sure how well my post is going to sit, but I'm leaving it there for now. Once I see what Darkmatter produces I'll edit it if necessary, especially as I'm fairly certain the location I wrote for is slightly off, which could require a few edits regardless.

Still, I didn't want to just sit on my hands, it's hard enough starting off.

Could someone give me the skinny on what is going on in the IC? I read the opening post and like the 4 or 5 after that but from there I sort of slacked off due to sickness. But I am better (mostly) and would like to get a post up while I had some time but I can't read through everything AND post lol. So if someone could give me the important info (excluding the OP) that'd be nifty :) Then I can make a post and go about reading through all the posts at my leisure lol
