At the moment, we all seem to just be finding ways to converge on the Plains of Origin so we can get the story going. Although obviously it's good practise to read all IC posts, I think you might be able to get away with skimming them for now, unless you plan on meeting someone on the way. Darkmatter should have a post up soon which is going to (hopefully) bring everything together, so you could wait for him to post that, or you could just do a solo post about Alina getting contacted by a God and being sent to the Plains and have her arrive in the next set of posts?

Anyway, Gadget, it might help with a few small edits on your part as described by Kiddo. At the moment, as it stands, he and I are slightly plot locked / unable to really do much. We have both your character and a particularly large Orc approaching us at (what I can only assume to be) the same time without us seeing them off in the distance, one nearly ready to sucker punch me with an axe, and the other ready to longsword me in the face if I make a sudden movement.

I was so not prepared for this :P

I see, sorry that my character was not up to par. I also appologize for my inadequacies in spelling and my grammar, English is my second language.At the moment I am without my computer which affects the quality of my post. I am working from a tablet as well hence the reason I could not open the link for the history, as well as the one for the CS. Also the compendium I had assumed it was for applications.

In response to some of your critiques, he left the city through a secret dock but as you said earlier the lands of Taure do not exist here so mentioning the islands of Ju'ra Yes it is a pre-made character from some time ago, I was not aware the elves of this RP are so long lived I assumed they aged more closely to humans, his political career circles around that which is why he is not seen as a 15 year old.. As per the magic I appologize though my character does not use magic. His 'spread' range of skills is simple, He has a liking for polotics from his father and what man of any wealth does not take on a means of defending himself and his honor, granted the archery could be too much if accompanied by swordsmanship. His skills as a torturer merely come from a politiciansmind set, analytical and calculating.

I can also set his appearance up more if that would please you. I am happy to tailor my character to the standards you've set and will gladly work with anyone willing to help. Though this response may seem to say otherwise I thank you for your critiques. Edit: This is also my first Advanced RP.

no no no no.. I'm not long swording anyone. It's still in the sheath. I assumed that you two were wrapped up in yourselves and the fact that you had just been dropped into the middle of nowhere (See, I did read your posts!!!). The hand on the sword is just cause, well, you got dropped into the middle of nowhere by some manner that Oscar has never seen before or heard of. He's freaked the fuck out. But he's detached his shield to place it in front of him so that, well, he can long sword the shit outta you if need be. But I'm going to go digging for the OP of it and then I will edit, address, or whatever. And you guys can feel free to alter it whatever way you want. I just went off of what I saw from the post. I found an opening and I took it. you can even have the goblin know I'm approaching. I don't give a hoot. We're all playing together but I can only post for myself.

I have to ask what circles you run in to have elves who age similarly to humans and to have them be non magical. I can't think of any work where elves weren't the long lived fae who were inclined to magic more so than humans.

I didn't think that reading a map and a few parts of banter would take a long time. I kind of figured that they plopped down, assessed their situation, read the map, banter, banter, sit down and smoke with spear in the ground. I was thinking like five minutes at max. But I will scratch his post and rewrite it. I'm down with it. The whole post kind of centered around your character falling on his face. I'm not much of a planner. I'm an Aries.. I fire and then bend the direction of the bullet while it is hurtling through the air.

Ah, well... like you say, five minutes isn't really enough time for them to approach from out of line of sight in such a way that Dssialii wouldn't have seen them when examining the surroundings. Still want your character to come relieve us of our boredom, though :P

I tend to assume my posts are being made at the same time as the characters who are posting their own posts. Otherwise is a linear, depthless progression of events that makes me fall asleep. I get it though. No one wants to feel like their post was ignored. I should have probably pmed you guys first... But I feel like I'm above the law of courtesy among RPers. I'm also wrong a lot.

EDIT: The achievement for having most hiders in the Compendium goes to this guy. Yeah. That makes me better than all of you. It really doesn't. Ignore me. I'm in a pretty good mood, despite having to trash my comical post because you guys want me to follow silly things like line of sight and hearing and progression of time. Gosh. Uh.. Yeah. Someone post something.

Decided to split this Chapter post into two parts. The first for Shankee, the second for Bawzel. The former will be summoning all the adventures and the latter will be calling for his generals (sicarius, inspector and NPCs (or other players who join between now and then)).

Well then, it is good that you took the criticism constructively and I would be delighted to have you on board
The thing with advanced is they require time investment. They have the most reading/writing but also the most reward. The plot and character development are to a higher standard. All I ask is to make the character a part of Enduwin make it fit. Feel free to create a new race even, we have a lot of humans
Mostly, it's just that the grammar, syntax etc need to be maintained to a high standard and all's good

The character sheet for the BB shows me nothing. Literally. It's all smoke and mirrors and doesn't tell me anything on how to destroy him in one uber powerful strike from my non magical swordsman. Wtf. Fix it. I need to know his weaknesses and his flaws and everything that will help me make this into a short lived RP. Otherwise this is going to take time investment, development and real effort.

Also. I thought advanced existed because some people aren't good enough to write concise posts that are easy to read and understand in as few words as possible? I didn't know that advanced offered rewards... I thought it was a pain in the ass.

And I suppose he could have been hiding. But where? Behind a tall bush? Plus he's an Aries. He doesn't hide, even if he should. Uh. I understand that Aries probably don't exist in this RP. But that's how he is being played.

Allowed. Aloud is used when speaking outward. When you read a book to a group of people, you are reading aloud. When you are permitted to do something, you are allowed to do it. :)
