After my last NRP went belly-up, it decided to start again. This time, we're going way back, to the days of Egyptians, Greeks and Romans. Anyone up for it?
So what is the Ancient Era?
Anything until 500 CE/AD. If there are any questions about certain techs and devices, ask me.
The last NRP you did fell apart. Are you sure you're up to it?
Last time I made the mistake of not knowing my era. This time, I know what I'm doing. I've done extensive research, have ignored games as sources and am more willing to point out flaws than I used to be.
Will there be a map?
Yup. There will not be preset regions, so you'll need to draw up region borders. Also, City states and City State Collectives are entirely acceptable.
Will you be civil?
This question is born out of an incedint that happened last NRP. I said "Screw you" to an RPer, meaning it as a joke, but obviously you can't hear my tone through a screen. People thought I genuinely was trying to insult the poor fellow on the receving end. I will make sure I don't say anything stupid, and if I'm joking, i'll put a :-P at the end of the line. I'll also make sure all participants are civil to each other. You know who you are...
I'm not sure about my NRP/Ancient knowledge...
Don't worry! I know much more about this era than the Medieval era, and myself and any other history buff that comes along will be glad to help. As for your NRP skills, I'll do my best to keep you on track.
