Plot

Everyone who ever lived in the little town of Riverdale has heard the stories of the mysterious disappearances. Every now and again someone new would disappear from town and never to be seen again. Sure everyone is curious is to why this is happening, but they rather not stick around to find out less they be taken as well. Truth be told high up on a hill top that looked down at the town there was a mansion and in that mansion lived the residents of a wealthy family. No one ever see's them they never leave there humble estate to come down to some dinky town, at least that's what the town folk thought.

For the longest time the mansion held the father and his four sons, but since the father died the boys remain. Little was known about the family, the truth of the matter being the four boys were cursed with a rose tattoo marking on each of them. Each being cursed with a creature that no one could possibly love. As the boys grew so did their tattoo's and then suddenly one by one the petals of the roses were disappearing and that meant they had little time. In the sudden panic and no one to watch them properly the boys started taking more people then they normally did and the town's number dwindled to almost nothing. Fearing to lose more people four families offered their daughters to the unseen beasts, ordering them to the mansion. With the girls being offered they don't know what would happen, would they die like the others? Would they end up being tortured and become mere toys to them. Or will they be the key to their freedom.

Riley is a peaceful type of girl. She's very silent and rarely talks to other people in town, actually no one in her town really has heard her voice less she was talking to herself, just gives gestures as answers to people. She hates fighting back and watching others getting bullied or hurt. She's one to always have a smile on her face, even in the worse situation she hides her true emotions under it so others wouldn't worry so much about her. As for the male variety is very new to her since she never socialized she's never had a boyfriend and new to alot of things with them. She's open to other people, if they talk to her she would do her best to socialize as she is very open and friendly. Though even though she's friendly she doesn't trust easy in people no one ever stayed with her long as what they call a "friend" only it was at their own convenience. She's not very confident in her self and brings herself down alot and let what others say get to her way to easy. She's very obedient as well as being helpful no matter what people ask her she always does it unless she finds the situation unnecessary. She's understanding of people, rather a good listener to their problems if they ever needed her for it

Riley came from a very large family of 6 siblings with her being the youngest of them. She always did what she could to take care of her family, even if it was something inconvenient and mean towards herself. Her parents didn't mind her much actually she was mostly invisible to them and never really cared about her seeing her as an unwanted child. Her father was abusive towards her and was taught to not speak out of place which would explain her silence. Late at night she had the tendency to leave her home to nature just to get a little piece of mind and show her true feelings she hid from her family so well. No matter what Riley did she could never please her parents even if she tried her hardest and her siblings continued to pick on her. She never understood why she stayed with them maybe it was the fact that she never had the courage to run away on her own or that she had no other place to run away too, always thinking that to herself as she sat on the roof of her home every night. It wasn't till her parents died that the pain sort of eased, her siblings didn't know what to do without them and she was there to take care of them even after all they had done to her. Little by little it was getting better, they stopped teasing her and saw her as siblings and strangely she was happy to see her parents gone. Most would be sad but it seemed they were the influence to her siblings to be mean towards her or maybe the fact she was the only one willing to take care of them. Though her opinion quickly changed when her eldest sibling gave her up to some strange monster up on the mansion hillside that no one speaks of, guess they only saw her as a servant rather than a sibling.

Riley is deathly afraid of large bodies of water after one of her siblings pushed her in a lake and she almost drowned.

Mara is very shy and kind though she is so shy to the point where she can't really talk in front of other people. Having not socialized with anyone Mara with no knowledge on how to relate to others and so she hardly ever knows what to say or how to act. She tends to blurt a lot of things out without realizing it or thinking about her words. She also gets embarrassed and flustered way too easily; often blushing and hiding her face. Being as innocent as she is to the world, she trusts way too easily and is oblivious about a lot of stuff, especially when it comes to flirting/love or basically any interest thrown her way. She can be very insecure about herself and her body and she tends to second-guess herself a lot. Mara can become upset very easily and is very sensitive; also being very clumsy and tends to trip over her own feet a lot. Despite all of this however. Mara loves helping people and will do everything she can to make them smile. She looks at the brighter aspects in life and tries not to dwell on negative thoughts. Mara has a habit of thinking out-loud and she tends to talk to herself in her native tongue. Mara also puts others needs before her own and in most cases she reacts without thinking of her own well-being: if someone is being hurt, Mara will immediately try and protect them with any means possible without even considering herself. She is very, very selfless. Mara can be very curious and is very easily captivated and awed by even the simplest of objects and things. She is very much like a child in a way.

+History+
Mara and her parents, unable to stay in Ireland because of her fathers job, moved to the small town of Riverdale. Mara had always seemed to be a burden to her parents. They hardly ever spoke to her and when they did it was either insults or pointing out what a failure she is as a daughter. As her parents had told her countless of times: she was useless and they were cursed with her instead of the son they dreamed of. Mara suffered through physical abuse and violence at the hands of her father and verbal abuse at the hands of her mother. When people in the town began to go missing and the townspeople came up with a plan to offer up four girls, Mara's parents practically offered her up and a silver platter, overjoyed to finally get rid of their burden.

She speaks Gaelic and while she can understand English, she has trouble speaking it and will often mix English and Gaelic words together when angry, frustrated, or scared
