Scenario 10
Jesse was lost, plain and simple. It wasn't exactly that this school was complex either, it was just the problem of not knowing how to talk to everyone here. How could he just go up to someone and ask them how to get accepted into the school? Up until a few days ago he had never even heard of the damn place and now here he was, surrounded by other wanderers. He didn't want to seem like an idiot and admit to his incredible ignorance to the world his people lived in. Though then again, were they really his people? Outside of himself, he had never interacted with another wanderer. 'Well, you're gonna have to talk to someone at some point. Might as well get it over with' he thought, giving the hall he was currently wandering through a quick glance around. A few students stepped out from a classroom a few meters before him and it was there Jesse would make his first attempt to communicate with another wanderer.
His fist hovered over the door, a single drop of sweat sliding down his brow, falling into his eye and making him blink with annoyance. "Here's goes somethin'.." his voice trailed off, knuckles sporadically knocking on the door. "Come in." a man's voice said, beckoning him from beyond the door. Jesse's hand ran down the door, his fingertips trailing slowly to the handle which he turned sharply, giving the door a push as he did so. Before him was a man who appeared to be in his late thirties, early forties who was impressively pale. From a quick glance, Jesse first wondered how long Benedict Cumberbatch had been teaching magic, then remembered he should probably say something. "Uh... H-hello. I'm Jesse and I'm..." Jesse reached behind himself and put his palm against his neck, giving a slightly nervous smile to the man. "Well, I'm not really a student I guess... I'm... a wanderer?" he said, for the first time unsure of his own status. "I want to become a student." he said, finally spitting it out.
