The RP is taking place in this topic... the Skype chat is just to discuss OOC things like the post order but those things will also be relayed to you either through here or the PM system. Skype is supplementary; it just allows us to communicate faster. There are NO IC posts in Skype.

Ah, sorry. It was a big communication error. XD I was seriously freaked out, and honestly thought that the opening post was just for potential new members and the rest of it would be Skype collabs.

And yes, phillip, that'll be fine! I was actually thinking about approaching you about that. Mable is -not- an almighty goddess, she needs training and all that...but yes, I'll take your agreement and I'll take your scenario. :3

Also, as for Ashlynn and Mable becoming buddies would be likely, but...Mable is young, like 15. At least this complete mental trauma will fit with her 'luna lovegood' style attitude. She's not going to go over the edge and start stabbing people with knives, but it'll be more..."that-weird-girl-who-wears-bobble-hats-in-summer" attitude.

But yeah, walking in on a bloodied woman lying on the floor nearly dead, and then having to save her life? Gonna cause some interesting issues in the ol' braincase.

So...I'm not sure if I'm going to continue this RP. I was expecting...something a bit different. I'm not exactly fond of the way things are being handled. Don't get me wrong, it's a nice setting and all, it's just...the absurd level of GM total control and the extremely overbearing power of these guys is starting to put me off. In general, I prefer for people to control their own characters. It's one thing to have extremely powerful enemies, it's another to have people with the ability to launch a psionic spear that automatically impales a character to the wall, and can rip another person's face off. I understand that you ARE the GM, but I think it might just be better for me to bow and take my leave here.

It was nice meeting y'all, though.

We did it this way for a strong intro of how strong the group we're going to be facing off against. Other than that we're going to be cutting down on the GM.

Also, it's not as if the GM just does whatever he wants. When the bad guys hit we usually talk about it on Skype or Facebook or something, so it's not that the person has no clue their character is about to be impaled

Are you really under the impression that those acts of violence went without the permission of the other RP'ers? I'm sorry, I'm not really sure what to say here. You're kind of stating that you're leaving because I'm, ostensibly, an egomaniacal godmodder who gets off on brutalising other people's characters whilst they sit by helplessly and watch the overbearing GM ruin everything.

That's really not the case; everything was co-ordinated with them (and with their full encouragement, by the way) to provide the basis of a real threat against the Academy and its students,

Please notice the difference between the injuries that Dark, Jade and Ashlynn received as opposed to the injuries that Jacob did. Notice how the attack placed on you was left open-ended but the others didn't have a chance to counter. That's because they knew exactly what would happen and had even planned it with me.

Then it looks like I'm wrong. Good, I was hoping that's the case. Consider the issue dead and me still in. Sorry if I seemed like a jerk there, just wanted to get that idea across. To be honest, it's kinda my fault since I was busy almost all day and couldn't get on Skype.

Hope we can all be good RP buddies for a long while then. I do like this RP, I was just a it off-put by the show of force. I guess I really did underestimate these peeps.
