Sam tried to take note of the area she was in. If she used too much blood, there was good chance of accidentally spearing Scorn. Once she noted what all was possible, she started pulling the blood out of the blood bag.
As it floated out, Sam was reminded of how liquid looked on television when they showed zero gravity. The more that came out, the more strange it looked. It didn't really look like blood at all, more like red paint. When she finished -the blood bag wasn't leaking, thank goodness- it looked like a large red sphere. Sam loosed her grip on it and allowed a few drops to drip into the floor. Moving quicker than before, Sam pulled all of the blood behind her and began showing her true powers.
The drops of blood on the floor became spikes that were easily as tall as Scorn. The spikes were tilted at odd angles, but none of them were near Scorn at the moment. Sam then moved on to her next trick, transforming the blood flowing behind her into a sword. I took all of it, so that not even drop could be used for other purposes, but Sam didn't care. She spun she sword on her hand once, and the cut though the spikes, which quickly 'melted' away, leaving only the dried bits of blood on the floor. Done, Sam made her sword blood again, and it all flowed back into the blood bag, save for the drops on the floor.
"There we are. I'd do more, but it's too cramped in here, and it takes too long to do." Sam was deliberately vague about her blood shield. If Scorn knew that Sam had only one more trick up her sleeve, then she wouldn't go looking for more. Sam had a few other tricks, but didn't want to share them with someone who could easily become the enemy at any moment.
