[IC] Avatar: The Journey

Once again Fan and the survivors were leaving from another village, there next stop Ba Sing Se where they will restock on supplies. "It's a three day journey to Ba Sing Se, non stop." He says to the group.

"Alright, anythin' new otherwise?" Ao's thick accent called. Great, another village abandoned. Of course, maybe Ba Sing Sae can hold up. Permanently. It seemed to be, to the misfortune of Ao, that to get to Ba Sing Sae would mean a very long trip. "Are you sure we can't just stay here?" she asked, her fears getting the better of her. She hated longer trips, and the fear of passing through the desert on the way was a lot to handle.

Taeyeon sighs crossing her arms close to her chest looking at the group. "It dosen't matter." She turned too Ao. She seemed to be a little worried about going to another desert. Taeyeon walked to her patting her back softly as she spoke softly. "No worries. We will get through it together. Trust me, I want to stay but we have to go." She smiled at her.

[Epiphany]

Shen clenched an almost empty bottle of wine in her hand, she used it sparingly and managed to survive a few days with just one bottle, though hope quickly ran out for her. She took the last sip by hovering the bottle over her mouth, savoring the flavor before it was completely gone... Until she got a new one that was. The alcoholic pouted as she held the bottle close, glancing at Ao. "Don'tbeaworrywart~" Shen cooed, her speech rather slurred from drinking the rest of that bottle. "We'llbefine! Trusht me."

[Charlie]

"Well..." Fan started "we can stop at Ba sing sa for a while for, like a week, but then after we stock up there we can go to the northern coast and follow that to the west until we hit a village we can make are home there" he explains, looking at every one in the group. He notices Shen and thinks 'Man, I hope we don't have to carry her again' he then continues to walk.

"Shen, please try to sober up before we head out, we can't have you passing out again" Ao stressed, nodding in thanks at Taeyeon. "I suppose we can make the desert, we have enough supplies" she said gingerly, turning around and looking off into the distance. She really hoped that the desert wouldn't be there.

Gang Chun had just been assigned to go to Ba Sing Se, to take down the great city. The fault in the Fire Nations great plan a small team of men, with Gang inside... and Gang not exactly wanting this war along with him lightning bending instead of fire. It was easy to take down the men and defect out quickly before another team came to check up on them. Before long he was approached by the Ba Sing Se militiants. Now as he stands before them, he shows them the newest areas that were attacked, discussing perhaps even sending small dispatches to help travelers if they needed it.

li looked at the drunken mess that he called a friend and sighed as he wiped his brow. She wasn't the best at overcoming addictions but he was glad to see she could ration what little booze they had, thought it worried him how much damage she would do when they ran out, judging from the punch to the gut she gave him last time he refused her alcohol he was expecting to be beaten to a bloody pulp until she was calm enough not to hurt anyone else. He was hoping to get some practice in the earth bending styles but the desert ahead made him think that the only thing he would be practicing his looking for water.

"you know we could use those drinks to keep ourselves alive, the are more than just something you like, maybe we could all have some?" he said to shen before putting his hands up and taking afew steps back.

"of course that's if it's okay with you, I don't really like booze anyway" he said hoping not to get on her back side. She was much stronger than him, despite his intense training, he began training with her to try to hone his skill to be more powerful than her, but had failed to come close since.

[Epiphany]

"DID YOU JUSHT SAY SHARE!?" Shen waved his bottle aggressively at Li, clearly she was in a drunken rage. "Do I LOOK LIKE I WOULDJUSHT SHAAARE MY BOOTLE O' BOOZE!?" She threw his bottle at him, chucking it with astounding strength. The girl was clearly stronger drunk than she was when sober, it was a proven fact that she could fight better and was much more agile.

"Do you want to start afightbecause I'lllll DO IT!" She growled, raising her fists up, preparing to get into formation for earth bending. Shen was unpredictable when she was drunk, her sudden mood swings made it hard to control her and yet somehow the group has managed to keep her calm. Li managed to enrage her constantly, it was almost like a schedule to him.

[Charlie]

Fan sharply exhales, at the sight. "not again... Well, lets watch, and wait for her to calm back down." he says under his breath and bends a stool to sit on. "You shouldn't have said that, Li. Now you have to take your lumps." he says from his safe distance.

Li barely dodged the bottle and began to raise a fist as well only to put it out as an open hand in front of him, he hated fighting her because of her completely unorthadox style, it was as if she had created a form to suit her drunken manor perfectaly, and the amount of time it took to cool her down was intense. Li picked up the bottle and chucked it back to the girl underhanded and moved back as to get out of range of any punch or kick.

"now now let's be reasonable, I was just asking not trying to force you or anything don't be so hot headed"

[Epiphany]

As the bottle was flung towards her, Shen quickly raised her foot, her elegant and form perfect as her leg spun to kick the bottle away from her. She stomped her foot back down, her fists unclenching to form to solid palms, it appeared as though she were mimicking the movements of a bear. Shen moved her arms in a circling motion before using the foot that was the farthest away from Li to step forward, making her legs cross. Columns from the ground began to jut out, moving straight towards Li. Again, the girl did another fluent move, as if she were a graceful ballerina, her aggressive movement turned much more subtle as she slowly moved her hands upward, raising the rock from the ground and sending it hurdling towards Li.

Li gave the rock a strong drop kick and bounced off landing to shen's left side. He smiled as he noticed that she could not get as buzzed as she normally could as they had a limit of how much they could use. this put her at a disadvantage, but he was still going to take head of her movements. Li took a minuted before slamming his back foot into the ground creating a pillar that was angled to shoot him towards shen, he stuck his right foot out for a kick heading for her head.

"If I apologize will you stop trying to beat me up my cheek is still bruised for the last battle"

[Epiphany]

Shen regained her balance, her glare shooting towards Li's foot as she quickly turned her body, grabbing hold of the boy's foot and swinging him violently. "Yer sho predictable." She let out a long laugh before tossing him, attempting to slam him hard into the ground. It was un-human, unholy especially for her to posses such unimaginable strength.

The drunkard paused for a moment, placing her hands on her knees and throwing up onto the ground. She then collapsed and passed out.

Li got up and dusted himself off, he may not have beaten the girl but she passed out so he counted it as a win. His back felt like someone had beaten in with a brick and his head felt compressed and hurt worse than from a bear attack, he knew that as long as shen didn't kill him, she could keep any real danger away. He sighed as he picked up the body and put her on his shoulders and began to walk forward again, he didn't have time to wait for her. As he was walking he picked up the bottle they had tossed around and began drinking from it only to spit out a mouthful and spinning around, it was surprisingly bitter and had gotten to him instantly, he was a lightweight.

Gang Chun eventually convinced the BSSM (Ba Sing Se Militia) to send a dispatch to team to help travelers from the most recent fire nation attacks migrate to Ba Sing Se.
