Think you're the smartest person on RPG? What about the luckiest? Well how about you put your money where your mouth is and prove your skills in Puzzle Doubt.
Puzzle Doubt isn't your ordinary game of Rabbit Doubt. It's more than a game of survival, it's about proving how you are above the rest. Let me explain.
You have been invited to the marvelous Puzzle Mansion for an evening of games, however these aren't your ordinary games. Your host is quite sadistic and has trapped you in the mansion, forced to play games that will decide whether you live or die. Trapped in the mansion with you is a murderer. Every morning he will kill one of you off. To aid you however, in the evenings you may choose to lynch another player, hoping to kill off the murderer. Sounds standard right? Simple?
Not quite. Like I said, this is a game about proving how you are better than the rest. You see, every night a puzzle of some sort will be posted. As a player you will have a certain amount of time to solve the puzzle and submit your answer to me. If you get the answer wrong, your character will suffer. If you get the answer right, your player may just be lucky enough to get an advantage over the other players. What is this advantage exactly? I like to call it Immunity. Any players who correctly solve the puzzle in the allotted time period will be placed in a randomizer (here is one of the luck aspects) with the other players who correctly solved the puzzle. If in that turn you happened to be one of the smartest, AND the luckiest you win Immunity. Immunity makes you, well immune to that round of lynch votes as well as the next round of murder. Are you a murderer who has been found out? Win immunity and live to kill another day. Do you have a critical role and the killer has his eyes set on you? Win immunity for a chance to stay in there.
Solve puzzles, win benefits.Fail to solve puzzles and I guarantee you your character most likely won't last very long. Good luck.
Alright so here is a quick TL;DR
-This is rabbit doubt, there is X number of killers and X number of average people, your job is to NOT DIE by eliminating the killers
-Every Morning phase someone will die, and every Evening phase someone will be lynched by casting votes.
-In order to prolong your survival, an advantage called "Immunity" is available. You can win immunity by solving the previous night's puzzle. Because ONLY ONE person can win immunity every turn, if multiple people solve the puzzle correctly, I will through them in a random generator and it will select who gets immunity. Even if you don't win immunity that round, it is better for you to have solved the puzzle than to have not have.
More in depth rules and explanations will be in the OOC once the game is preparing to start up, so for now this is an interest check / sign up for the game. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Since this game is all about puzzles though sign up isn't as easy as you think. Post here saying you're interested, then send me an e-mail with the answer to the following puzzle. It's an easy one but it will give you an idea of what you may come up against in game. Good luck and give me feedback.
