[IC] Looking at the past- between Espatier and Aisling

[Espatier]

" We will take the scenic route and just take our time burning off energy" Lance smiled at her.

[Aisling]

"Wonderful idea....." Linda replied as she looked around the pond.

[Espatier]

As the two used the paddle boat. "what can you tell me about The House of Gaul and what transpired in El paso, Tx that night?"

[Aisling]

Linda was quiet for a few minutes then she spoke quietly.

"The House of Gaul was considered the most elite frat house. What happens there, stays there or so I have heard. The female version or sorority was called The Soeur House. A play on words I think. None the less the males who stayed in The House of Gaul dated the females of The Soeur House exclusively. When one was admitted to the one house, one was admitted to the other house.
Kevin refused to leave The House of Gaul but Florence wanted to leave The Soeur House. She was not allowed to leave even though she wanted to do so. She signed some sort of a commitment and could not get out of it.
While initiations in The Soeur House was mostly less bloody with the exception of the virgins who was soon deflowered by some unknown males, The House of Gaul was well noted for bloody initiations, usually self carving but on a rare occasion when a new leader was needed, a more bloody initiation was called for. Only the really rich could afford the dues and pay for the expenses of those two houses."

[Espatier]

"That is kinda creepy don't you think?" spoke lance " When we get to El Paso, Tx that is very close to the border, I'll want you not to leave my sight, understand?. For YEARS alot Caucasian and Hispanic women have disappeared. If these people do these crazy things.. you'll never know whom they will employ to do dirty work. "

[Aisling]

"Creepy isn't a strong enough word for it. How can I do my end of the work? I need time to do research and thought that I would stay inside the RV with the security system and OnStar on alert for outside intruders......" linda asked as she thought about the suggestion.

[Espatier]

"Yeah... excellent idea" Lance commented. He spent some more time making small talk then suggested that they go and eat. " I was thinking that we should stay one town over if these people have take much control of El Paso. I mean... I think that it would be safer and we can still rent a car and have it sent to the R.V. site like Enterprise car company or someone like that".

[Aisling]

Linda thought for a moment then smiled.
"Yes that is a smart thing to do and I probably be safe enough in the RV. Let's eat for I am starving!"

Later that day a co worker asked the young librarian to take her hours because she had a hot date so she couldn't close that night. The young librarian smiled and told her to take it up with the head librarian because she was leaving for the day........
Once this young librarian was home, there was a good sized package at her door. No one ever left her a package before an she didn't order by mail. She took the package into the apartment and closed the door. The only room without any windows was the kitchen. That was the place to open the package and to find

[Espatier]

Lance and Linda went back to eat and have a nice meal.

During the meal Lance ask a few more questions about the area and where to start. " What kind of movie did you want to watch before bedtime?" Lance asked her.

[Aisling]

"Actually I prefer to go to bed early and get up early so I can do a bit of research on a couple things. I hope this doesn't disappoint you very much...." Linda spoke softly as she began to stand up.

[Espatier]

"No.. go right ahead" he weakly smiled " Good night to you and the cat "

Lance stayed up a bit longer then retired for the evening.

[Aisling]

Bright and early the next morning........

Linda got up and showered then put on a terry clothe dress. The kitten followed her every where but she kept it in the bedroom.
She then made some coffee and toast so that she could start working soon.

[Espatier]

"Thank you for the lovely day yesterday" smiled Lance after he got up. " I'll get us on the road first thing so we can make miles before stopping for the evening. We can get McDonald's along the way as well.

[Aisling]

"That is fine. I am going to do some computer work as we travel. I am starting with Grace's family and in-laws. Most rich people pay for thier misdeeds to be covered up....." Linda spoke as she poured two cups of coffee. She handed one to Lance.
"I'll put on some jeans and comb out my hair."

[Espatier]

Lance placed he cup next to him as he drove on the interstate till they found a place to stop for the night. It was a very long drive for lance so he pulled into a KOA before it turned dark. He paid for the slot, hooked up the water, power and black water lines as well.

[Aisling]

Linda had made no headway in her search of the Landon background, only the Ranch and it's details. She was quite tired by now and had a terrible headache by the time they reached the KOA. She began to make a larger and clearer map of the Lazy L Ranch.

[Espatier]

"You think that I should ask around the Landon place first or somewhere else?". He asked Linda " I would hate to tip off the workers that are loyal to the Landon family. Maybe I can get some information at the local library or a historian?"

Lance got the briefcase from his bedroom and laid out the contents once more. Newspaper clippings, notes were scattered on the table as he sat. When linda mentioned that she had a headache lance then offered to cook if she would "Dare" to eat his cooking

[Aisling]

"If you could make something that is not too heavy, i would be very appreciated. The family is not noted in anything besides the family ranch. It's like they didn't do anything outside of ranching. I suspect some kind of a cover up but I might be wrong. a Miss Priss normally does not work on a ranch and do anything even remotely like work is all." Linda spoke wearily.

[Espatier]

"gosh.. I haven't heard name like that since I was a kid, damn. You don't hear names like that anymore or people that might refer to a sister as "sissy" Lance began to reminisce in his childhood for a bit as he made a "light meal" for himself as well as Linda. " I still think that talking to the historical society, Library people might be are best bet as well the newspaper... if it's not "owned" by then as well" Lance was trying to point out over dinner.

[Aisling]

"I have no clue how or what they own. They may even be owned by Grace's family. The Sullivan family is into oil and are quite rich... not sure how rich but they have been known to buy off people, bribes, and other things such as giving gifts to those who are in the Sullivan favored list.
Kennedys got their riches from bootlegging and are very good at fast driving, on roads and off roads. They know their lands like the back of their hands and have many relatives in the mountainous regions. They are a bit underhanded but they do not make deals. Either you meet your commitment or you die trying if you get the drift......" Linda sat down to eat.
"Sullivans would own their town, simple and cleanly by funding money to the various organizations and companies which are owned by them. They are a large family and the kind who stick together come what may. They have big family dinners every Sunday. "
