[IC] Looking at the past- between Espatier and Aisling

[Espatier]

Lance chuckled with her over these items...

" Hurry up and get the food, I'll meet you in the R.V. I'm going to ask about the boat for you on the lake, ok?"

Lance went to the other counter and spoke to a man " Do you have paddle boat, sailboat or row boat and can I rent one after I park and for how long can I rent the boat for".

Lance wanted to impress Linda a bit because lance had a weakness for food and enjoyed her cooking, he just wanted to make her smile.

[Aisling]

Linda was almost done shopping when she saw the section off area with a sign. Kitten selection for The Cat Starter Kit. Next to it was everything that one could ever want to have in a Cat Starter Kit..

She looked into the area where she saw a lonely kitten poking at a ball. It was tiny grey ball of fur with large green eyes. When the kitten happen to see Linda, it scampered to her meowing and trying to reach for the big person.

Linda finally picked up the grey ball of fur and it responded with a loud purr as it curled up in Linda's cupped hands.
"Now what would I do with a tiny furball? You are smaller than normal kittens." she spoke gently as she looked at the kitten.

[Espatier]

"Awwhhhh... what is that thing that your holding dear?" Lance asked with a worried look in his eyes.

[Aisling]

"That thing is a part of a at Starter Kit. This is a Miniature Persian.From what I have read they don' get over 3 pounds tops. This is a female and weighs about a half pound." Linda Spoke as she held it out towards Lance.


"The rest of the kit is right next to you. From litter pans to food to dishes to toys to collars and leashes. Now it is time to put the poor little girl back in her lonely play pen. She is pretty though. I guess that all of her siblings have been 'Kitted' out. Ready to go pay for this food?"

[Espatier]

" Is this where you sub consciously telling me that I need a cat?" Lance asked

[Aisling]

"Not exactly....... More like I need a cat and this particular tiny baby needs a home. Look at it's big soulfull eyes...... I just can't resist getting a Cat Starter Kit. So I will pick out a few basic things for her such as a litter pan. This self cleaning one will do. Litter, food, dishes, bed.... Oh such

." Linda spoke as she added the few items to the cart.

[Espatier]

"I wish that I lived that good" Lance chuckles... " Fine you get that and the food, I'll carry it all" Smiling

[Aisling]

"Thank you, dear." Linda grinned at Lance as she put a pretty collar on the kitten. It was silver and sparkly. Then a pink leash was snapped onto the collar. A harness style was also picked out just in case like.
"Now kitty you need to sit on my shoulder for the time being. When we get you settled in, I'll get you your toys. Then you can play and explore for a while. "
Linda followed Lance to the register and together they checked out what they had.

[Espatier]

Lance and Linda... and kitty, in tow left the building.

the new cat crew and packages all arrived safely to the R.V.

get the cat situated and I'll try to help put things away, Lance started to separate the food from the cat things. Lance was happy to make Linda smile while he was putting things away. " Can we get away for the night?, or do we need a cat sitter?.

" I wanted to eat, then do the boats... what do you think about that?.

[Aisling]

Linda nearly laughed about needing a cat sitter but thought it was best not to do so. Instead she smiled and spoke,

"Cats are very independent creatures. You can leave them for many hours as long as they have plenty of food and water. We can go boating anytime that you want to. It sounds like fun. Do you want to grill the steaks or shall I?"

[Espatier]

"You grill and I'll try to check out a boat for us" Lance explained, then left the R.V. to visit the boat house. Upon returning lance was able to find a little more about the boats at the lake.

"We can rent a paddle boat, a small dingy or a metal canoe, which one would you like to try?" Lance ask Linda

[Aisling]

"Which one can you operate? I have only used the paddle boat. The steaks will be done soon. I am grilling some corn too and there are tomatoes sliced up." Linda spoke as she checked the steak..

[Espatier]

" Corm, tomatoes and they are freshly sliced, yum!" Lance beamed " I can operate all of them but if you want the paddle boat, that would be "groovy" Lance commented

[Aisling]

"It would be a good way to work off this big dinner then we can come back for dessert. I just want to change into some sweats before we go paddling." Linda spoke as she took the two steaks off the grill. She took the steaks inside and sat them on the table.
"Don't worry about Sweetums. She is having dinner in my room and i am sure that she will sleep afterwards. Most kittens sleep a lot."

[Espatier]

"Wow, you sure know alot about cats in general" Lance commented and waited outside for her to change her clothes.

[Aisling]

Quickly Linda changed into her sweat pant suit and came back out.
"Are we gonna eat first or go paddling first?"

[Espatier]

"I'm thinking that should paddle first, eat, sleep then brain storm this list that you gave me". Lance explained " What does linda want to do?" he smiled.

[Aisling]

"I like to do my work and exercises before I eat a good meal. Then I can rest in comfort. I can do some more research a bit more if you would like." Linda spoke with a smile.

In another city, in a library , a young female librarian was being razed about her over time. She smiled the whole time then had her turn to speak. She told the head librarian that if she didn't have so many lazy assistants and librarians, then she would not have worked so much. This young young female librarian had made a pint that the head librarian knew that she was correct. They finally agreed that the best way to settle this is to have anyone who wanted to give hours to another person, they would have to sign a paper then who ever was taking the place of the one who wanted less hours place.
The young female librarian was more than delighted to tell the others that she was not going to take their place and she could call the head librarian if someone left before their shift was over and leave her there to close by herself.

[Espatier]

"Lets go grab a pattleboat then" lance said as he offered to lead her the way to the dock to rent the boat. At the boat house, they rented a boat and Lance held the boat while she got in first, also to get his liberal looks as well before stepping into the boat himself.

[Aisling]

Linda chuckled as she accepted Lance's arm and walked with him to the boat shack. She sat down in the seat and turned to smile at Lance.

"I am ready when you are, dear. Which direction are we going to go in? Is there anything like a lakeside garden or some kind of a scenic sight?"
