[IC] Looking at the past- between Espatier and Aisling

[Espatier]

"would you rather I wait downstair or in the parking lot?" Smirked Lance. " Yeah that would be fine and wonderful..friend"

"Please pick a station"

Soon the new dynamic dou were guided to her apartment and Lance made it a "way point" on the GPS.

" Ok... I'm ready and I promise not to hold your hand in public" Lance grinned as he opened the door for her. " Lead the way"

[Aisling]

"I think that it is Gus' day so he might just tease me a bit or behave himself. He tells me that I should get a nice looking guy and date him. If it him there will be no question and answer period." Linda chuckled a little as she dials up a station that specializes in piano music.
"Come on in with me. It wont hurt anything. The RV has some kind of a cable like music channels with no commercials. I forgot what it is called. We have a wonderful cable TV package called Roaming the USA. Suppose to get at least 300 channels everyday no matter where we are. Internet is built in. All have been paid for 1 year."

[Espatier]

" Your a goddess... "

Lance eyes open " we have Sirius Radio? Damn"

Once he parks the RV. Lance will open the door and let Linda lead him to the apartment

[Aisling]

"Yes that is the name of it!' Linda smile as she got out of the RV. An older gentleman was at the door was watching her intently as Linda walked towards the doors.

"Hello Gus. I want you to meet a friend of mine. Lance Simmons." Linda spoke softly to Gus.

"Good day, Sir. " Gus spoke in a dignified voice as he held the door open.

[Espatier]

"Good Day" Lance said with a head nod. As he followed Linda and not say a word to anyone else and watch everyone's behavior to him and her.

[Aisling]

She got into the elevator and rode to the 3rd floor and went into the first apartment across from the elevator.

"Make yourself at home while I pack a couple suitcases and make a few calls. i won't take too long. " Linda placed her keys on the hook on her way to the kitchen then headed to the bedroom. it didn't take very long to pack her clothes. She then placed the two suitcases by the door and headed to the study where she took out a large folder and placed in a briefcase that locked. After placing a few other things in the briefcase, Linda locked it. She sat down and made several calls before heading back to the living room.

"I am ready to go now if you are. I have a few things in the fridge we can take since they will be bad when I get back."

[Espatier]

"I'll grab your bags" Lance told her as he reached for her bags. " Did you want to test out the cooking range and get a slot in a RV park for the night, that way we could make sure everything works, sound good?" Lance asked her

[Aisling]

"Sounds wonderful if you like steaks. I have a couple in the freezer. I grab what we might need and be right down. It shouldn't take very long. " Linda spoke as she headed to the kitchen.
After about 10 minutes, Linda had everything ready to go and had locked up the apartment. She headed downstairs and out the door.
"Well, Miss Linda, It seems like you might have found a likely man there. But be careful, dear. 3 weeks of vacation with someone you barely know may prove hazardous to your health. Take this card and call in a couple times a day. Either me or the Missus will answer. Just so that it will relieve our minds that you are still safe." Gus spoke as he quickly gave her a card.

"Thanks Gus. I'll call in the morning and evening. Tonight we will be in an RV park, grilling the steaks. I am glad that someone is worried about me. Take care. No one should need to get in on my account. Here is my card. Just in case, you know. It has both of my numbers on it." Linda put away a card and gave a second card to Gus.

""Be safe." Gus spoke with a salute.
"I shall." Linda spoke as she turned away.

Heading into the RV, Linda spoke to Lance.
"I suppose that Gus spoke to you when you came out...."

[Espatier]

Lance nodded...

" Do the words -- We will hurt you if you hurt her, have a nice day" Lance spoke of...

" It was the Have a nice day part that really worries me... " Lance gave her a look that he was in shock, then a smile " He.. was kidding right?"

Lance turned the key to the ingition

[Aisling]

"Hmmmm... Yes and no. He wouldn't but he knows many people and he may be a bit protective of me. Just keep me safe and I'll call them twice a day so that they and you, won't worry too much. " Linda spoke as she put the groceries away.
After she was done, she walked to her seat and sat down.

"They never had children and think that I am their long lost child." she chuckled softly.

[Espatier]

"What time does your dad want you back again... 11:30 pm?" Lance smirked.

Lance place the R.V. in drive and headed for his small apt. He parked the RV near the front and asked if she wanted to stay or to come up.

" I just have a few things to grab and I'll be right down but your welcome to come up if you like" Lance told Linda.

[Aisling]

"Actually all he wants to know is where I am and what I am doing. However I am to be in bed by 11:00." retorted Linda as she unbuckled and headed to her room.
"I think that I'll stay here and make out a list. I'm gonna get new bedding. You take the master room and I'll take the other one. I can also start unpacking."

[Espatier]

** Under his breath lance says**

Spoil sport

" Ok, I'm going to run upstairs for a bit.

6 mins later... two duffle bags appear inside the doorway and lance disappears again. several mintues later he returns with a few boxes. Openning the cargo hold below he places everything in the cargo hold, locks it and returns to the driving seat.

" Ready for an adventure at the R.V. park? "

smiled Lance

" Care to call them ahead and find out if we can even park this monster on the lot?" Lance asked

[Aisling]

"Sure thing. You got a preference for any specific place or do I need to go online to see what there is available?" Linda asked as she came out of her room.
She brought her laptop with her which she placed on the drink table.
"I'm going to have some coffee. Want any?"

[Espatier]

"anything that will take the beast and yes, I would love a cup, please" Lance told her as he came to join her at the table.

[Aisling]

"There are many that you can park this baby in. If you feel like driving about 250 miles, that one is a great big park. Of course there are park and rest places like KOA. Not many frills." Linda sat a cup of coffee in front of Lance.
She sat down at the table.
"Where are we going again? We are in LA outskirts..... about here. " she put the letter A. "Letter B will where we want to be at this first leg of the journey."

[Espatier]

" Lets go through Kern country and choose one that is by the lake, check in with a ranger so it should take but an hour and a half tops maybe."

Lance explained

" Have you ever been on a boat? " Smiled Lance.... you could try cooking while I drive if your brave enough, nothing like hot grease but maybe a grilled chesse sandwich?. You could make a cut cut... " Lance turned over the ignition and the beast started.

[Aisling]

Linda smiled as she spoke
"I have not been on a boat besides the peddleboat on the lake in the park. I can try to make the grilled cheese sandwich after I make our reservations. Let me find a good place."

She began her search and found one that would take extra long 55 footers. Fortunately, they had several open lots which she took the one on lake itself even though it was higher than the others. She then made a grilled cheese with no problem at ll with making a snack for Lance. She took the sandwich to Lance.

"What do you want to drink?"

[Espatier]

After Lance got the directions from linda he set the RV in motion. He smiled that linda was able to cook in a moving R.V. like his mother would when his family would travel when they were kids. Linda had some awesome R.V. skills and that made him smile. When Linda came to the front to ask what he wanted to drink, he plied with " Do we have an RC cola?".

Lance took the sandwich with a big bite and continued to drive as linda acquired a drink for him. As he was waiting for her to bring back a drink " Thank you... for being you"

When he pulled into the R.V. and pulled up to the entrance, he parked the beast. " How are going to register us as? "
paused...
" Mrs Simmons?" Lanced smirked

[Aisling]

Linda got his cola and sat down until they got to the campgrounds.

"I registered you Mr. Simmons. I shall stay here and wait. Also if there is a possibility of stopping at the store first, I suggest that we do so. Hmmmmm.... the store is inside her as well. I might as well go in and see what they have inside."

Linda read the signs for various items and laughed out loud at one of them.

"Get this one. A cat starter kit. Comes complete with a kitten. What will they think of next?"
